Hand Hell

Hand Hell are Kirsty Stegwazi (guitar/vocals), René Schaefer (guitar and bass) and Ricky French (Drums), an independent rock trio from Melbourne, Australia. Hand Hell released their debut album Phonography in 2007. After four years of playing under the moniker The Bites, with a variety of different line-ups, Melbourne songwriters Kirsty Stegwazi and René Schaefer decided it was time to make a fresh start to allow for an expanded musical palette and a fresh approach to writing and recording.

Nouvelle Vague

Three different groups have performed under the name Nouvelle Vague: Nouvelle Vague (France) is a project created by French musicians Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux and a number of female singers, including Camille, Alexandra Pavlou of Spring and Suburbia, Mélanie Pain, Marina Céleste & Phoebe Killdeer of Phoebe Killdeer and the Short Straws. The group's albums consist in bossa nova fashioned covers of (primarily) new wave songs (hence the name "Nouvelle Vague"). The covers include songs by Dead Kennedys, The Smiths, Joy Division, Public Image Ltd.

Kimya Dawson

Kimya Dawson (born 17th November 1972) is an Olympia-based singer-songwriter, and a prominent part of the anti-folk movement. Dawson became well known as a member of The Moldy Peaches. Since the Moldy Peaches took a break from performing and recording in 2004, Dawson has released a string of lo-fi homemade albums, and toured widely in North America and Europe. In 2005 the Pharmacy and Matty Pop Chart performed as her backing band on a U.S. tour. In 2006 she collaborated with a number of friends to make a group, Antsy Pants, that recorded and released an album on Plan It X Records.

miss A

Miss A (aka 미스에이, in Hangul), is a South Korean girl group under AQ Entertainment, sub-label of JYPE. miss A began as a five member group and were known as the JYP Sisters. One of the original members was Hye Lim, who replaced Sun Mi of the Wonder Girls. The two remaining members of the group, Wang Fei Fei and Meng Jia, soon had Suzy Bae added making the group into a trio. They released a CF song 다시 사랑 in Korea along with a Chinese version in China in June of 2010. They later added a final member, Min Yong who had trained with JYPE nine years prior to debut.

Boucher, born June 2, 1979, is the middle child of seven daughters. The name "Butterfly" was a suggestion from a friend of the family. Her mother didn't initially like the name but kept seeing butterflies in pictures, on clothing, etc. before the birth. Robin Miriam Carlsson aka Robyn (born June 12, 1979) is a Swedish singer and songwriter from Stockholm, Sweden. She scored massive successes in the summer of 2007 with her hit single "With Every Heartbeat" which was most notably #1 in the UK, but also had chart success in her native Sweden, the Netherlands, Ireland and Germany. She is best known in the USA for her 1997 song "Do You Know (What It Takes)". Her debut single "You've Got That Something" was released in Sweden in 1995.
