strange forces
Their influences range from Spacerock to obscure New-Age Prophecies. It sounds like a black sanded beach below 20 suns. It’s mulitdimensional dark-surf, powered by Peyeote and driven by dark matter induced by their pineal gland. SEEKA is coming to get ya! And all of a sudden there’s SEEKA, the rock trio that warmed up Paradiso as a starter for N*E*R*D and Living Colour. This new indie/pop/rock band from Amsterdam consists of singer, guitar player and Alvin ‘Shad-O-Seeka’ Lewis, bass player Shanku Tuhusula and drummer Eddy Addai. Seeka provides a fresh mix, a melting pot of styles that provokes all kinds of creative inspirations and energies, but that turns out to be truly original every time. ‘We named it hip-rock: rock with past time dynamics and a hip-hop state of mind’, Alvin says.

Talbot is a down-tempo / psychedelic duo highly inspired by doom and experimental genre music from Tallinn, Estonia. Formed in year 2003, but real activity started in August 2008. The mythical and sacred fire-being phoenix lives a thousand years and perishes in flames after building a nest. Few are those who know that the bird leaves behind two eggs - a white one and a black one. From the white a new phoenix hatches, but what might emerge from the black, nobody knows.

Black Mountain
Black Mountain is a Canadian rock band led by Stephen McBean. The band is an amalgamation of the Classic Rock / Blues Rock of Neil Young, Buffalo Springfield, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath with some psychedelic tendencies. Leader Stephen McBean also heads another similarly-named band, Pink Mountaintops, who are the more experimental side of McBean's musical abilities. Black Mountain is the front line band for Black Mountain Army.

School of Seven Bells
School of Seven Bells is a dream pop/shoegaze band which formed in 2007 in Brooklyn, New York, United States. The band consists of Alejandra Deheza (vocals, bass), and Benjamin Curtis (guitar, electronics). Alejandra's identical twin sister Claudia Deheza (vocals, keyboards) was also a member of the band until leaving for personal reasons in October 2010. The Deheza sisters are former members of On!Air!Library! and Curtis is a former member of Secret Machines and Tripping Daisy. The band is named after the School of the Seven Bells, a mythical South American pickpocket training academy.

Melbourne band who mainline German electro-punk styles (DAF/Cluster/Kraftwerk) and melt them down with subterranean Americana that draws on the nightmare sound of early Suicide, the eschatological tapes and drum machine style of the first incarnation of Destroy All Monsters et al. Captured Tracks calls it “’74 Germany + ’79 Sheffield + ’09 Australia”.

The Lovetones
The Lovetones is led by Matthew J. Tow (acoustic & electric guitars / sitar / autoharp / vocals), formerly of Drop City, Colorsound and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, along with Matt Sigley (bass / keyboards / vocals) and Chris Cobb (drums / percussion). The Lovetones released their debut album, Be What You Want in 2002 through Bomp! Records, creating a palpable buzz amongst critics from the likes of Creem and Rolling Stone magazine. The latter hailed mainman Matthew J Tow's songwriting worthy of Ray Davies, Bowie, Lennon and McCartney: a bold statement, yet in his case, completely justified.
