Ylem

Ylem: Primordial substance from which all matter was formed. Ylem is a producer and DJ who creates as part of the music/art collective The Community, which has contributed to underground culture in Perth by providing a platform for local talent. YLEM’s experimental production reflects his taste for the emerging future beat sub-genres. The eclectic array of hypnotic beats he produces span dubstep/future/psyche/trip-hip-hop creating new auditory spaces.

Salamander

There are several bands with that name: 1. Minneapolis outfit Salamander began as a duo in the summer of 1992 featuring Erik Wivinus and Sean Connaughty on guitars and vocals. They played mostly mellow drone-based instrumentals that in retrospect sounded much like contemporaries Labradford or Low. Doug Morman joined on bass in early 1993. They recorded and played gigs as a drummer-less trio until Bryce Kastning joined on drums and keyboards in early 1994.

Neelix

Hamburg based artist Henrik Twardzik, better known as Neelix started to produce music in the early 1998.
After DJing for some years he finally decided to create his own sound. His first track he recorded was "Neelix - The Fourth", released on a NOVA TEKK compilation called Maverixx in 2002, which was followed by numerous releases on different labels from all around the globe. Until now Henrik has released 2 albums and many singles, his third album is already finished, mastered and was to be released on the 30th of March, 2009 on Millennium Records.

Son Kite

Behind the successful production of Son Kite are Sebastian Mullaert and Marcus Henriksson. With different origins they got together in 1996 and are today working full time as producers in their High-Hat Studio in Malmoe, Sweden. What has made Son Kite such a success? Here’s a little view of their backgrounds that has for sure shaped them as producers. Sebastian started to play the organ at the age of eight, which also led him on to taking piano lessons.

There are 19 (and counting) acts named Nexus. 1. neXus is a electronica/dance artist located in Columbus, GA. Featuring hard hitting dance tracks, stunning progressive techno beats, and other interesting variations on the electronica genre. X-Dream are Marcus Christian Maichel (born May 1968) and Jan Muller (born February 1970); they are also known as Rough and Rush. They are producers of psychedelic trance music and hail from Hamburg, Germany. Although their music retains the 4/4 drum patterns of Goa trance music and has a dependence on riffs, X-Dream has a unique sounds different from most other artists in the genre. They are well-known for their high quality of production and well-placed psychedelic sounds.

Psychonaut

There is more than one artist with this name. 1) Ritualistic dark ambient project formed in 1997. Changed name (and musical style) to Psychonaut 75 in 2001. 2) Influenced by psychedelic experiences and meetings the trance-project PSYCHONAUT was born.
