Buzzcocks

Buzzcocks is an English punk rock band formed in Bolton, Greater Manchester, UK in 1975, led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Pete Shelley for nearly their entire existence. They are commonly regarded as an important influence on the manchester music scene, the independent record label movement and the punk rock, power pop, pop punk and indie rock genres in general. They are primarily remembered for their singles, a string of would-be hits that combined a strong grasp of pop song craftsmanship with rapid-fire punk energy.

Cyco Miko

Mike Muir (born March 14, 1964 in Venice, California) is the singer for Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves. He has also released albums under his nickname Cyco Miko and has sung for No Mercy, replacing original singer Kevin Guercio, who sang for the band on the Welcome to Venice compilation. Cyco Miko released two albums on the record label Suicidal Records. The album Schizophrenic Born Again Problem Child was released in 2001, following up 1996's Lost My Brain! (Once Again) (which featured Sex Pistols's Steve Jones and future Velvet Revolver Dave Kushner).

Chumbawamba

Chumbawamba is a Leeds based English anarchist music group. It evolved from its punk roots, through pop, techno, and various other styles, to the folk group which it is now. The band is known for its polyphony and its non-conformant lyrics. In 2010, Chumbawamba is touring Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland and Czech Republic promoting their 2010 folk album 'ABCDEFG'. The band was formed in 1982 from two other bands based in Yorkshire, The Passion Killers and Chimp Eats Banana.

The Used

The Used is an American band from Orem, Utah. Their sound has been classified under many sub-genres of rock. They signed with Reprise Records in late 2001 and rose to fame in June 2002 after releasing their debut self-titled album, The Used. Soon after a CD/DVD package named "Maybe Memories" was released containing unheard demos and a "behind the scenes" story of the band/band's past. They followed up with their second album, In Love and Death, in September 2004 and their third album, Lies For The Liars, in May 2007.

All Time Low

All Time Low is an American pop punk band from Baltimore, Maryland, formed in 2003. The band consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Alexander Gaskarth, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Jack Barakat, bassist and back vocalist Zachary Merrick, and drummer Rian Dawson. The band's name is taken from lyrics in the song "Head on Collision" by New Found Glory. Formed while still in high school, All Time Low started out covering pop punk bands such as Green Day and Blink-182.

Anti-Flag

Anti-Flag is a punk rock band based in the United States, formed in 1988 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and known for its outspoken left-wing political views, focusing on anti-war activism, imperialism, class struggle, human rights, and other sociopolitical sentiments. Members include singer/guitarist Justin Sane, singer/bassist Chris Barker, guitarist Chris Head, and drummer Pat Thetic; Chris Barker ("Chris #2") replaced original bassist Andy Flag in 1999. The band is known also for their advocacy of progressive political action groups such as Greenpeace and Amnesty International.

Simple Plan

Simple Plan is a pop punk band from Montréal, Québec. The band has had no line up changes since its inception in 1999. Members are Pierre Bouvier (lead vocals), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), David Desrosiers (bass, backing vocals), Sébastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar, backing vocals) and Chuck Comeau (drums, percussion). They have released four studio albums: No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls (2002), Still Not Getting Any… (2004), Simple Plan (2008), and Get Your Heart On! (2011); as well as two widely marketed live albums: Live in Japan 2002 (2003) and MTV Hard Rock Live (2005).

Cynosure

Cynosure is a group of 6 musicians between the ages of 18-21 concentrating mainly on the genres of alternative\ slow rock music. They have been in the music industry close to 2 years and have performed in many events and competitions, the highlight of it being Sri Lanka’s premier event for local artists, TNL Onstage. This group of individuals first formed in school as teenagers and from there on developed into one of Sri Lanka’s well know Alternative bands. Some of the bands highlights are, competing and entering the finals of TNL onstage in the year 2005 and also in 2006.

HorrorPops

Band founders Patricia Day and Kim Nekroman first met when Day's now-defunct band, the punk rock group Peanut Pump Gun, opened for Nekroman's psychobilly band, Nekromantix, at a festival in Cologne, Germany in 1996. Despite both belonging to the subculture scene of Copenhagen, Denmark, the two had never met before, but they became friends over their mutual interest in alternative music. The two would eventually marry.
