Intense Hammer Rage

Burnie, Tasmanian trio INTENSE HAMMER RAGE go all out to shock with their brand of gut churning Grindcore. The band themselves subtly describe their own particular brand of Death Metal as "Putridfoulfesteringdeathgrindcuntcore". INTENSE HAMMER RAGE announced their arrival with a 1995 tape ‘The 24cm Makita Brand Circular Saw’ capitalized on by the following years ‘Massive Sphinkta Release’. Although a quartet at this stage the band would dispense with their vocalist, for reasons as the band put it succinctly of being "lazy, whining, so called vocalist".

Husbands

There are multiple artists called Husbands... 1. A collaborative from Arkansas. 2. Not to be confused with "the husbands", husbands are a london DIY drum/synth couple into self reliance, making community, organised resistance, autonomous spaces, and counter-culture art as duty not career. They have been playing since early 2006 around the UK and Europe with UK bands such as the corey orbison, sleeping states, chaps and drunk granny.

Skirmish

Skirmish, the bulldozer of heavy metal, was founded 2005 in Kajaani, Finland. Their upcoming debut album, "Through the Abacinated Eyes" will be released by legendary Violent Journey Records. The album has been recorded, mixed and mastered in D-Studio, Finland by Jarno Hänninen. Based on past releases, people have tried to chain Skirmish inside genre limits, such as death or thrash metal, but the bands driving force has been to stay outside of categories and to rather make good music in a tight leaning position.

The Bikini Beach Band

http://www.bikinibeach.co.uk/ The True Story of The Bikini Beach Band begins with one man - Jesus C. Escovedo - guitarist, revolutionary, ladies' man and 1956 All-Mexico Surfing Champion. Forced by his political beliefs to flee from his homeland, he escaped by stowing away on a cruise liner with only a guitar, a Hawaiian shirt and an autographed photo of Duane Eddy. He landed in Southampton, convinced Britain would welcome his music with open arms. Sadly, this was not to be.
