Steven Osborne

Steven Osborne is one of Britain's most highly regarded pianists. He was born in Scotland in 1971 and studied with Richard Beauchamp at St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh and with Renna Kellaway at the Royal Northern College of Music In Manchester. In 1988 he was a finalist in the piano section of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, and went on to win first prize in the prestigious Clara Haskil Competition in 1991 and the Naumburg International Competition in New York in May 1997.

The Wreckery

THE WRECKERY are a Melbourne based formed by Hugo Race and Ed Clayton-Jones on their return home from tenure with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds in Europe and the U.S.A. Robin Casinader joined on drums having played with Hugo and Ed in the art punk outfit Plays with Marionettes. Nick Barker and Charles Todd finished the line up on bass and sax respectively. THE WRECKERY were a big hit on the live circuit and had a large and loyal following.

She began performing solo in 2003 and has since headlined with her full live band at Sydney venues The Factory (Marrickville), The Hopetoun and The Annandale. Kharkov

Kharkov (John Bartley) is an electronic artist from Melbourne Australia. This nom de plume arose in 2005 with his first release, ‘Something Tangible’, on the artist run label, Brother Sister Records. In 2007 John released his second live instrumental offering ‘Guzheng’ and 2009 has seen Kharkov’s latest release ‘Glitch/Space’, a seven inch pressed at Peter Kings DIY plant in New Zealand. This release marks a return to his interests in early minimal techno and ambient music.

The Red Eyes, Melbourne’s Dub/Reggae monster band, continues to wow audiences with their unique sound, combining masterfully produced beats, soulful, heartfelt lyrics and grooves, with shake the house dub rhythms that have set a benchmark for Australian Dub/Reggae.

Founded in 2002 as an 11-piece act, The Red Eyes describe themselves as a bit like the hotel California – you can check out anytime but you can never leave.

Stranglehold

Stranglehold were a Punk band from Boston. They started in 1982 and broke up in 1984,in between they released one 12 inch and one 45 rpm for Taang! Records, they toured the country with The F.U.'s who they shared a practice space with and also played with the likes of the Circle Jerks, Suicidal Tendencies, Dr Know,Iron Cross, Marginal Man, 45 Grave and TSOL..
