Stranglehold were a Punk band from Boston. They started in 1982 and broke up in 1984,in between they released one 12 inch and one 45 rpm for Taang! Records, they toured the country with The F.U.'s who they shared a practice space with and also played with the likes of the Circle Jerks, Suicidal Tendencies, Dr Know,Iron Cross, Marginal Man, 45 Grave and TSOL.. UK born singer/guitarist Phil Dean jumped ship from his homeland in 2000, making for the sunny shores of Melbourne, Australia. A series of archaic pagan rituals went horribly wrong, forcing him to abandon earlier plans of world-domination, and he decided to return to his musical 'career'. The first Zeptepi demos emerged in 2001, but it wasn't until 2004 that a band was recruited, due mainly to a horrific injury to Phil’s sofa which had rendered it uncomfortable.
Wildbirds & Peacedrums are a contemporary experimental two piece hailing from Sweden consisting of singer Mariam Wallentin and drummer Andreas Werliin. Their 'instruments' consist of her powerful vocals and his unorthodox percussion/drumming, resulting in a powerful, innovative sound. The lead singer, Lukas Rossi, born December 21, 1976, was a contestant on the popular show 'Rockstar Supernova' and is now the new lead singer of Supernova. Rise Electric has toured several times, and has even toured with the famous american band 'Papa Roach'.
