Cynosure is a group of 6 musicians between the ages of 18-21 concentrating mainly on the genres of alternative\ slow rock music. They have been in the music industry close to 2 years and have performed in many events and competitions, the highlight of it being Sri Lanka’s premier event for local artists, TNL Onstage. This group of individuals first formed in school as teenagers and from there on developed into one of Sri Lanka’s well know Alternative bands. Some of the bands highlights are, competing and entering the finals of TNL onstage in the year 2005 and also in 2006.

There is more than one artist with this name:
1. A Black/Death Metal band from Blue Mountains, Australia
2. A Brazilian indie rock band lead by Rodrigo César (aka Rodrigo Guedes) (Killing Chainsaw) from Londrina, Paraná.
3. A pseudonym of German minimal electro artist Paul Kalkbrenner. 1. The Australian Grenade began in 1998 after guitarist, Nigel, then a member of two other underground Sydney metal bands, found three fellow metal maniacs, who knew their way around their instruments, to give spirit and form to music that he had begun writing literally years before.

The Dream The Chase are a post-hardcore band from Brisbane, Australia. Their debut EP, Found Again, was released on the 24th of September, 2009.

With a name like EPIDEMIC…OVER, one can be forgiven for any preconceived conceptions of the bands sound. After all, a lot of today’s bands have names that immediately create ideas as to what genre they are. In E…O’s case, expectations are dissolved the second the first note is struck. To be put simply, it’s the music that defines the name. Reigning from Central Queensland Australia, EPIDEMIC…OVER are a promising, energetic four piece combining hard hitting guitars and emotional vocals held together by a tight and driving rhythm section.
