Harvard Bass

Anyone who has ever watched the birth of a genre before knows that it almost always grows from the youth; the fresh perspective. Well, I’d like to present a candidate for that new sound in the form of new-comer Harvard Bass. Clocking in at a measley 21 years of age, this San Diegoan seems to have stumbled, with his first original track, on a hell of jackin’ banger. If you have been through LA recently, you might recognize him as Sleazy V often seen amongst folk such as Paparazzi, Acid Girls, Johnny Love and so on.

Housse de Racket

"Winners of runs, losers in love" is the leitmotiv of Housse de Racket. It is first and foremost a smart, sport concept, a musical match between two childhood friends devoted to love and sport. Not sufficiently heavy weight to become high-level sportsmen, Pierre and Victor opted for high flying pop music. Goodbye loneliness and heartache, hello polos, rackets and guitars - because rackets are also instruments with strings. Flashmatchs

Wippenberg

The project WIPPENBERG started in 1995 as a simple side-project, with its first release NEURODANCER on the German underground label Hyper Hype Records. OLAF DIECKMANN - a German producer and dj, who made his first steps as a teenager in the early eighties in the EBM scene - created a big and worldwide club-tune with the hymn NEURODANCER, which was f.e. licensed in UK to the genius techno label Prolekult.

Disclosure

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) www.myspace.com/disclosureuk
Two brothers from the UK making sweet two-step beats. Debut single out on Moshi-Moshi Records in september. 2) On their previous tour, Disclosure arrived in Newport News, Va, 4 1/2 hours from home to learn that their show had been cancelled. Here, most bands would have called it a day, but instead they frantically called friends to search for shows via myspace. They ended up playing for free and headlining a show in Richmond, Va. This is just one of many stories that showcase Disclosure's dedication.

Matan Zohar (a.k.a Mat Zo, Unripelemon, Reif, MRSA) was born in April of 1990 into a musical family. Throughout his childhood, music was a huge part of his daily life. He was pressured by his parents at an early age to take up an instrument, and when he picked up his first guitar in 1998, he quickly showed a talent for it. During this time he developed a love for Daft Punk. In 2001 he moved in with his dad in London.
