Dominik Eulberg

Dominik Eulberg, born in 1978 in Westerwald, Germany is an electronic music artist and DJ who has released numerous singles as well as full-length albums on labels such as cocoon recordings and Traum Schallplatten. He occasionally works as park ranger in German National parks, an occupation he plans to pursue full time in the near future after retiring from music. Dominik's fascination for electronic music began at a very young age.

Holy Ghost!

Holy Ghost! is a DJ duo from Brooklyn, NY, formed by Alex Frankel and Nick Millhiser of the now-defunct group Automato. They are currently signed to DFA and have released a 12" single. They also recently received some great promotion when their track Hold On was selected as iTunes Store Free Single of the Week in December 2007. During 2008 the boys have remixed Moby's I Love To Move In Here (Holy Ghost! Remix Edit), MGMT's Of Moons, Birds & Monsters (Holy Ghost remix) and Cut Copy's Hearts on Fire, amongst others, to great success.

Dada Life

They don’t care about genres. They don’t care about smartness. They don’t care about the things you care about. Dada Life just want to make you jump up and down. Then make you crash into a wall with a smile on your face. The formula has been a winner since the start. In summer 2006 Dada Life released ”Big Time” and DJ:s all over got their first take on the duo. Since then there has been a steady stream of records: ”The Great Fashionista Swindle”, ”Vote Yes” and “Fun Fun Fun” as well as the full length album “Just Do The Dada”.

Waverider

There are 2 bands under the name WaveRider currently active. 1)WaveRider is François Giroux from Montreal and he started releasing his music under this name on the net in 2004. Drawing from diiverse influences, but mainly from dub and electro, WaveRider's music is a blend of electronic grooves and experimental techno. WaveRider has received some radio airplay in Canada on electronic music shows, and has a following on the internet since he started.

The Egyptian Lover

The Egyptian Lover started out as a D.J. in Lafayette, Louisiana then moved to Los Angeles and started promoting dance events with Unique Dreams Entertainment, which would later change its name in 1983 to Uncle Jamm's Army. Together, they would hold early hip-hop dance parties at the L.A. Sports Arena and in Torrance with over 10,000 people. The Egyptian Lover's first recording was in 1983 as a member of the THE RADIO CREW, and then later that year he contributed to "Dial-A-Freak" which was released by Uncle Jamm's Army.

DJ Vadim

DJ Vadim (aka Vadim Peare, real name Andrey Gurov) is a prolific DJ from Russia, based in London. His music combines hip hop and electronica and his recording technique involves very precise sampling as opposed to looping. He signed to Ninja Tune in 1992, and founded his own independent record label, Jazz Fudge in 1995. Aside from DJ-ing, he has worked in numerous roles including A&R, promoter, and radio presenter on the BBC's "Around The World In Eight Relays".

Shock One

Coming from a traditionally trained musical background Shock One bring a unique sound to the drum and bass music scene. Discovering the sound through artists like Bad Company, Konflict and Ed Rush & Optical, it wasn’t long before Karl Thomas and Jay Burns, at the time playing in a metal band with members of Pendulum, were experimenting in the electronic music. It was when Shock One’s tune ‘Silverscreen’ dropped at a pendulum return show that things started to really move.

Severed Heads

An Australian electronic group formed in Sydney, Australia in 1979, Severed Heads have released albums ranging from <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/experimental" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">experimental</a> <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/industrial%20noise" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">industrial noise</a> to <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/synthpop" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">synthpop</a> influenced <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/dance" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">dance</a> music. The original members were Richard Fielding and Andrew Wright, and were soon joined by Tom Ellard. This later changed to Garry Bradbury, Paul Deering, and Tom Ellard; Ellard has been the only one to remain throughout the group's career, with changing lineups throughout its two and a half decades of existence, later working mainly with Stephen Jones.

From the days of Breakbeat's origins, FreQ Nasty established himself as one of the scene's pioneers, producing many of the genre's defining moments. As Breakbeat came into its own, FreQ Nasty's tunes remained ahead of the pack. His music is on the cutting edge of the FutureStep Movement, a chaotic loose assemblage of sonic renegades, steeped in the traditions of Breaks, Dubstep, Rock, Ragga, Grime and Funk, chopping in and out of slow-motion, Halfstep beats.

DJ Shadow

Considered a prominent figure in the development of instrumental hip-hop, DJ Shadow (real name Josh Davis) has proven himself with groundbreaking, genre-defining solo output on such respected labels as Solesides and Mo' Wax. Although Shadow's earlier works, especially 'Endtroducing.....', are known for their innovation in genres such as hip-hop, ambient, and trip-hop, his latest album, The Outsider, had several tracks dedicated to Hyphy.
