Sick of It All

Sick Of It All is a nyhc band formed by brothers Lou Koller (vocals) and Pete Koller (guitar) in 1986. Formed during 1986 in Queens, the band released their first self-titled EP on Revelation Records and began to accumulate a strong local following by playing famous clubs like CBGBs (‘A Month Of Sundays’ actually pays tribute to these glorious days at this legendary venue). Soon after, the band released their first full-length record ‘Blood Sweat And No Tears’ on In-Effect Records.

Artist Type:

Your Demise

Hate filled hardcore from St Albans, UK. Parting with your frontman, merely weeks after the release of your breakthrough debut album, is not an event many could take in their stride; the annals of musical history are not exactly littered with bands that have lived to tell the tale. But Your Demise are amongst a determined few, the British quintet standing tall at the climax of the busiest, most demanding year of their collective lives – unbeaten, unbroken, unscarred, having positively transformed adversity into rebirth.

Spoonfed

There at two band with the name Spoonfed: 1) Spoonfed are a mid-paced Dystopia worshiping punk band hailing from Sydney, Australia with previous members of Pure Evil Trio, Crux, Doss, Scum System Kill..etc. 2) Spoonfed was essentially an Emily (that's emiLy) side project. Here is the "Brief History of Spoonfed" that came in the booklet which accompanied the self-titled tape: Spoonfed began as an excuse for me to play the songs I had written on guitar instead of trying to teach the guitar parts to Joe and using them as emiLy songs.

The Scandal

THE SCANDAL is a three-piece progressive punk band from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. The band is comprised of Nic White, Mat Cocks, and Liam White. 2009 sees THE SCANDAL issue its first vinyl release, the Edges / Seasickness 7". The double-A sided EP sees the band exploring more weighty, measured material. Making a feature of the overlapping and intertwining vocals of all three members, the new songs bring an intensity born of restraint, showcasing just three instruments played rythmically and relentlessly.

Artist Type:

Mountain Man

There are two artists called Mountain Man: 1. Mountain Man is a group of three young women, based in Bennington, Vermont - Amelia Meath, Molly Sarle, and Alex Sauser-Monnig- who sing with or without Alex's guitar. There's a fragile balance between the three very different styles and personalities in these three young women. They are all songwriters, and having all three approaches with the same treatment on the same album is really satisfying.
