Strike Anywhere is a melodic hardcore/punk band from Richmond, Virginia. They formed in 1999 after the demise of frontman Thomas Barnett's previous band, Inquisition. Terror
Many bands with the same name: 1) Terror, a hardcore band from Los Angeles, California. The band formed in early 2002.
Though the group consider themselves a "hardcore" band, guitarist Doug Weber says Terror, "sounds like all of the old metal bands I used to listen to. It's just not crazy Swedish metal or something, it sounds like old thrash." Terror has been very successful in their time as a band. Their album One with the Underdogs sold over 40,000 copies. They have also been on tours throughout Europe, Australia, Brazil and Japan.

Refused
Refused is a <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/hardcore%20punk" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">hardcore punk</a> band originating from Umeå, Sweden, formed in 1991. The band's final lineup comprised its founding members, vocalist <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Dennis+Lyxz%C3%A9n" class="bbcode_artist">Dennis Lyxzén</a> and drummer David Sandström, as well as guitarists Kristofer Steen and Jon Brännström. Their lyrics were often of a non-conformist and politically far-left nature. The band released five EPs and three albums before initially splitting up in 1998.
