1) Were a Swindon, UK post-punk band active in the late 1980's, releasing two singles on RS Records, both in 1986, a 7" and a 12" respectively. A contemporary magazine, Melody Maker described them as 'The Cure meets The Cult'. Another magazine, Sounds, wrote: '...a cracking rock band in the rugged tense mode of Killing Joke and New Model Army'. 2) Ides of March are a deathcore band hailing from Perth, Australia. Box Elder

Box Elder is a band from Adelaide Australia. Their sound has evolved between noise and indie pop influences including bands such as Pavement, Sonic Youth, Frusciante, Joy Division, the Strokes etc along that vibe. Shows may include second drum kits, glockenspiel, harmonica, synthesizer and a variety of percussion instruments, layered on top of three guitars, bass and drums. Oh, and delay. Their first EP 'Rewind the Fall' was recorded, mixed and mastered in their homes and will be physically available soon. Plans for recording of tracks for an album are evolving alongside new material.

The Wreckery

THE WRECKERY are a Melbourne based formed by Hugo Race and Ed Clayton-Jones on their return home from tenure with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds in Europe and the U.S.A. Robin Casinader joined on drums having played with Hugo and Ed in the art punk outfit Plays with Marionettes. Nick Barker and Charles Todd finished the line up on bass and sax respectively. THE WRECKERY were a big hit on the live circuit and had a large and loyal following.

Michael Beach

Michael Beach is a San Francisco-based musician. The formative years of his musical career were spent in Melbourne, Australia where he released several EPs with Electric Jellyfish (Ecstatic Yod, Twin Lakes) as well as his debut LP, Blood Courses (2008). Michael has toured the USA three times with Electric Jellyfish (2007, 2008, and 2010) and once solo (2008). He has toured Australia twice with Electric Jellyfish (summer 2009 and winter 2009) and once solo (2009).

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday is an Australian musician, who played in Jab, The Models and Einstürzende Neubauten. Wednesday formed an Australian punk rock band in Adelaide in January 1976. The band's original lineup consisted of Bohdan X (Bodhan Kubiakowski) on guitar and vocals, Wednesday playing bass guitar, synthesizer and tapes, and Johnny Crash (Janis Friedenfelds) on drums and vocals. The band took its name from the first initials of the founding members. The band relocated to Melbourne in August 1977.

Severed Heads

An Australian electronic group formed in Sydney, Australia in 1979, Severed Heads have released albums ranging from <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/experimental" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">experimental</a> <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/industrial%20noise" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">industrial noise</a> to <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/synthpop" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">synthpop</a> influenced <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/dance" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">dance</a> music. The original members were Richard Fielding and Andrew Wright, and were soon joined by Tom Ellard. This later changed to Garry Bradbury, Paul Deering, and Tom Ellard; Ellard has been the only one to remain throughout the group's career, with changing lineups throughout its two and a half decades of existence, later working mainly with Stephen Jones.

P.K.14 - Beijing based post-punk band. The abbreviated name P.K.14 is a continuous play on words. Primarily standing for Public Kingdom for Teens (青春公共王国), known to also stand for Pent Kilowatt One More Than Thirteen, Pelikan Kraut Seven Times Two and Psycho Killer Two Less Than Sixteen amongst others...
