My Disco

My Disco is a musical collaboration between Liam Andrews (bass, vocals), Rohan Rebeiro (drums) and Ben Andrews (guitar) that formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2003. Named after a Big Black song, the band contains member of the former Clann Zú, Days Of Iris and Heartfeltself. In 2003, My Disco performed their first shows in small venues in and around Melbourne, including many 2 PM all-ages house shows. Late 2003 saw the release of their debut 7", and marked their first Australian tour.

Michael Beach

Michael Beach is a San Francisco-based musician. The formative years of his musical career were spent in Melbourne, Australia where he released several EPs with Electric Jellyfish (Ecstatic Yod, Twin Lakes) as well as his debut LP, Blood Courses (2008). Michael has toured the USA three times with Electric Jellyfish (2007, 2008, and 2010) and once solo (2008). He has toured Australia twice with Electric Jellyfish (summer 2009 and winter 2009) and once solo (2009).

Primitive Calculators

The Primitive Calculators were an Australian post punk band of the 1970s, known for their use of a screeching Mosrite Ventures model guitar, primitive synthesizers (a Wasp and Roland SH2) along with an electronic organ played through effects pedals, and an extra fast drum machine keeping time (Roland CR-78). Their frantic, low-fidelity sound pumped out of Marshall Combo amplifiers. Loudly. Their music was influenced by proto-punk New York acts like The Godz, The Velvet Underground, Texas 60's psychedelic punk...

Beaches

From Melbourne, Australia, Beaches are Antonia Sellbach (Love of Diagrams) on guitar and vocals, Alison Bolger (Panel of Judges) on guitar and vocals, Ali McCann on guitar and vocals, Gill Tucker (Spider Vomit) on bass and vocals and Karla Way on drums and vocals. Their debut, self-titled album, released in November 2008, 'reflects the shared musical loves of Beaches, from 1960s hit parades to 1970s psychedelia, shoegaze to prog, southern boogie to krautrock.'

Les Savy Fav is an indie rock band which formed in Providence, Rhode Island, United States in 1995, where the members were attending the Rhode Island School of Design. Cortex

Four (or more) artists have gone by the name Cortex: a French jazz-funk group from the 70s, a Swedish punk band, a Spanish metalcore band and a experimental Belgian project by Alain Neffe. 1. A French jazz funk group from the seventies.
Key members were Alain Mion (Piano) and Alain Gandolfi (drums, percussion). Cortex recorded several albums and singles for the Sonodisc label. 2 albums got re-issued: 'Troupeau Bleu' (on 'Dare-Dare') and 'Volume 2' (on 'Follow Me'). 2. A Swedish punk or post-punk band from Gothenburg.

The Rapture

There are two bands sharing the name Rapture:
1. An American dance-punk group
2. A common mistake for a finnish death/doom band actually called "Rapture". 1)The Rapture are an American rock band formed in San Francisco. The band mixes influences of post-punk, dance-punk, acid house, disco, electronica, and more. The Rapture formed in 1998 by drummer Vito Roccoforte and guitarist/vocalist Luke Jenner. After relocating to New York, the original bassist left and was replaced by Matt Safer.
