Arrows can refer to at least 2 artists 1.
Brisbane's Arrows formed in 2006 out of a common love of No Idea + Crank records bands often described by the three-letter "E" curse word. But simply put, these are four friends playing music and having a blast along the way. In amongst playing shows, the band swiftly recorded and self released their ‘Don’t Write Poetry’ CDep and toured the Australian east-coast.

The Middle East

The Middle East were a musical collective from Townsville, Australia, which formed in 2005. Fusing various influences from post-rock to folk to ambient, various members have at different times played in other North Queensland based groups such as Joseph Liddy and the Skeleton Horse, The Forest, and We Are Buildings.

After completing several East Coast tours, they released a split EP in 2006 with local Cairns band Sleeping in Trains. Their debut album The Recordings of the Middle East was released on 24th April 2008, shortly before the band announced their first split. They reconvened eight months later, and in the autumn of 2009 released their album in the United States as an abridged EP, also called The Recordings of the Middle East.

Their song "Blood" is featured in the films Accidents Happen, It's Kind of a Funny Story. and Crazy, Stupid, Love, as well as in an episode of the Australian television comedy-drama series Offspring and an advertisement for European bank BNP Paribas.

At the start of their appearance at 2011's Splendour in the Grass music festival, the band announced that their set that night would be their last show ever, thanking fans in attendance for making their finale special for the band. Amiina

Originally a string quartet formed by four girls (Edda Rún Ólafsdóttir, Hildur Ársælsdóttir, María Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir and Sólrún Sumarliðadóttir) at the Reykjavík College of Music in the late 1990s, Amiina went on to cut its teeth as Sigur Rós' string section for the next decade. Now a sextet after a recent masculine infusion, Amiina released its second full length album, Puzzle, in September 2010.

This Town Needs Guns

This Town Needs Guns, (sometimes shortened to "TTNG") are a math rock band originating from Oxford in the United Kingdom. They were formed in 2004, and are currently signed to Sargent House (USA) and Zankyo (JP). Their debut full length album, Animals, was released in UK via Big Scary Monsters Recording Company in October 2008 and shortly after in the US via Sargent House Records. The line-up changed in June 2011. Stu Smith left the band to become a father, and he was replaced by Henry Tremain (Pennines).

Pioneers of Good Science

Pioneers of Good Science have been playing together since mid 2007. Their influences are varied, including post-punk, post-rock, instrumental/experimental, 70's punk and new wave bands. They're currently based in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Debut album 'From the forest, they did roam' out now! This was recorded over a long weekend early in 2010 by POGS on their 4-track tape recorder.

Efterklang

Efterklang is a band from Copenhagen, Denmark, consisting of four core members (Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen, Thomas Husmer & Rasmus Stolberg) who have played together since 2001. They are often joined by musicians like Peter Broderick, Frederik Teige, Heather Broderick and Niklas Antonson when they perform live and they also have a 5th member (Rune Mølgaard) who has been a part of Efterklang since the beginning, but who has taken a more secluded role in the past years. The Springer EP was originally released in a limited edition of 500 handmade covers in white fake fur.
