SEEKA is coming to get ya! And all of a sudden there’s SEEKA, the rock trio that warmed up Paradiso as a starter for N*E*R*D and Living Colour. This new indie/pop/rock band from Amsterdam consists of singer, guitar player and Alvin ‘Shad-O-Seeka’ Lewis, bass player Shanku Tuhusula and drummer Eddy Addai. Seeka provides a fresh mix, a melting pot of styles that provokes all kinds of creative inspirations and energies, but that turns out to be truly original every time. ‘We named it hip-rock: rock with past time dynamics and a hip-hop state of mind’, Alvin says.

Hype Williams, comprised of Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland, is named after the film maker responsible for Belly. Starring rappers Nas and DMX, it was a hyper-stylised, Nihilist mess and this London duo borrow its finer traits, its strut and loathing. From beneath a medicated haze they lace twanging Americana with seams of swaggering dread. They are Bobby Peru made music. The band's sound consists of very lo-fi, homegrown recordings incorporating hip-hop and '80s references—and the persona going along the band is equally as bricolaged as the tracks.

Van Dyke Parks (born January 3, 1943) is an American composer, arranger, producer, and musician, noted for his collaborations with Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys on the legendary album "SMiLE." As a child Parks acted in the 1956 movie The Swan, which starred Grace Kelly. He also worked steadily on television as a child actor between 1953 and 1958, including a role as Ezio Pinza's son on the NBC television show Bonino, as well as a recurring role as Little Tommy Manacotti (the kid from upstairs) on Jackie Gleason's The Honeymooners.
Secret Birds are a Brisbane, Australia based band usually consisting of five members who play some righteously psychedelic, droning and noisy jams. Bachelorette is the solo delivery vehicle for New Zealand based home recording tinkerer Annabel Alpers, with a little help from her friends Andrea Holmes (ex Fang) and local legend Mick Elborado. Annabel's music career started out venting Christchurch teen frustration in a "beginner indie" band called Mouse. Fortunately, things soon got better. She graduated to keys, guitars and vocals in the much underrated Hawaii Five-O, who were popular in Christchurch for their psychedelic surf sounds and country tinged old school rock‚n‚roll.
Perhaps the most psychedelically obsessed band since the 13th Floor Elevators, The Sun Blindness are a duo based in Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2004, they play lush, dreamy, melodic , harmony driven psychedelia informed by bands such as Spacemen 3 and The Beach Boys. 2008 saw the release of their debut album 'Like Pearly Clouds' in Australia on September 13th, 2008 by indie label Sensory Projects/Inertia. After some financial delay, their second album, "Far Arden" will be released by Sensory Projects/Inertia in February 2010.
