Lee M. Ranaldo (born February 3, 1956) is an American singer, guitarist, writer, record producer, and visual artist, probably best known as a co-founder of the rock band Sonic Youth. Ranaldo was born in Glen Cove, Long Island, New York, and graduated from Binghamton University. He has three sons, Cody Linn Ranaldo, Sage Ranaldo and Frey Ranaldo and is married to the experimental artist Leah Singer, with whom he has performed many live installation pieces with improvised music.

Elbow is an alternative rock band which formed in Bury, Greater Manchester, England in 1990 while at sixth-form college. The band consists of Guy Garvey (vocals, guitar), Mark Potter (guitar, vocals), Pete Turner (bass), Craig Potter (keyboards) and Richard Jupp (drums). Over the band's 19 year career, it has released five studio albums, four EPs and ten top fifty singles in the UK. Cola Wars is a contemporary pop-rock ensemble from Chicago, Illinois, in the United States of America. We use amplified string instruments, 8-bit synthesizers, standard rock drum configuration (SRDC), and the male vocal chords to produce experimental data concerning the generation of physiological and psychological movement in both public and private environments. Current staff have held appointments with such Chicago organizations as Millimeters Mercury, The Planck Length, Starlister, Mucca Pazza, and Zinc Finger and the Major Groove.
