The Silents is a four-piece band from Perth, Western Australia. Benjamin Stowe and Jamie Terry began writing and recording music heavily influenced by early sixties psychedelic and beat music in the second half of 2002. In September 2003, Stowe watched friend Sam Ford’s band perform at a local Perth hotel and, after the show, asked if both Ford and drummer Alex Board would be interested in joining he and Terry to form a band.
The White Electric formed in 2008 and consists of Lachlan Scott (Electronic Discharge) and Sally Whiteman.
With their powers combined, The White Electric intends to stomp out some genre breaking Acid-Electro-Hip-Hop-Rock tracks.
The White Electric are currently in the studio cranking hard towards to complete their set of all original tunes to begin performing live in early 2009.With the ability to cut tracks faster than an emos forearm, stay tuned for much more music to come!
Belle and Sebastian is a band from Glasgow. Led by guitarist/vocalist Stuart Murdoch, the seven-piece band has an intimate, majestic sound that is equal parts folk-rock and '60s pop. Murdoch has a gift not only for whimsy and surrealism, but also for odd, unsettling lyrical detail which keeps the songs grounded in a tangible reality. Based in Glasgow, Scotland, Belle and Sebastian released their first two albums in 1996: Tigermilk, recorded over three days, and If You're Feeling Sinister, recorded in a week, at the peak of the chamber pop movement.

Wolf Parade is an indie rock band from Victoria, British Columbia, now based in Montreal,QC. Wolf Parade was formed when Spencer Krug (also Sunset Rubdown, Frog Eyes, Moonface and Swan Lake) was offered a gig supporting Arcade Fire. He called Dan Boeckner (formerly of notable B.C. band Atlas Strategic, now also part of Handsome Furs) and they wrote songs with a drum machine before calling Arlen Thompson to play drums. Hadji Bakara joined in 2004. Dante DeCaro (formerly of Hot Hot Heat and currently of Johnny and the Moon) joined in Summer 2005 as second guitarist and percussionist.

US Indie group Seth Roberts (formerly of Watashi Wa) emerges with his latest project, Lakes. Featuring a melodic indie rock sound in the same vein as bands like Mae and former labelmate Copeland, Roberts diverges from Watashi Wa musically, while retaining a songwriting style that focuses on life, love, and hope. Gang of Four are a British post-punk group from Leeds, England. Original personnel were singer Jon King, guitarist Andy Gill, bass guitarist Dave Allen and drummer Hugo Burnham. They were fully active from 1977 to 1984, and then re-emerged twice in the 1990s with King and Gill. In 2005, the original lineup reunited. The group had a single in the British Top 60 with "At Home He's A Tourist" in 1979, which was blacklisted by Top Of The Pops for its use of the relatively innocuous term "rubbers".
