The Free Drunk Songfacts reports that on the strength of an EP and their live show, the quintet were signed by Rough Trade Records. In the summer of 2011, Howler recorded their debut album America Give Up , which was released on January 16, 2012 in the UK and the following day in the US.

The band has worked with Alex Jarvis (Automatic), Ashley Naylor (Even), Anthony Paine (High Pass Filter), Richard Andrew (Registered Nurse, Underground Lovers), and Steve Law (Zen Paradox). Black Cab's released their debut album, "Altamont Diary" in 2004.

The Get Up Kids are a Kansas City-based American rock band. Formed in 1995, the band was a major player in the mid-90's emo scene, otherwise known as the "second wave" of emo music. As they gained prominence, they began touring with bands such as Green Day and Weezer before becoming headliners themselves, eventually embarking on international tours of Japan and Europe. They founded Heroes & Villains Records, an imprint of the successful indie rock label Vagrant Records.

I Am Kloot are a band formed in Manchester, England in 1999 by John Bramwell (guitar/vocals), Peter Jobson (bass) and Andy Hargreaves (drums), notable for their twisted, witty lyrics. Their Debut single To You on Ugly Man Records was produced by and featured backing vocals by Guy Garvey, lead singer of Еlbow. Debut album Natural History was released in the United Kingdom in March 2001 on Wall of Sound offshoot We Love You, followed by I Am Kloot in September 2003 on the Echo label.
