.... sounds like the end of the earth.... tastes like chicken. "Ultra-violenthardcore/metal band 4DEAD are Canberran quintet with enough firepower to topple Parliament House. Violent and pummelling, they're the musical equivalent of Ben Kingsley in Sexy Beast. Banned from most venues in the nation's capitol, thanks to their chugg hardcore and mosh-metal sound (not to mention the insanity it can often insight), 4DEAD are a band who put their bodies on the line every time they take the stage, delivering a dangerous and theatrical show where anything can (and has been known to) happen.

Hobbs' Angel of Death

Hobbs' Angel of Death are an Australian thrash metal band that began in the mid 1980s and continue to this day, together with Mortal Sin they are one of the earliest successful Australian thrash metal bands. The band began in 1985 as a solo project for ex-Tyrus guitarist Peter Hobbs, with the help of ex-Nothing Sacred members Mark Woolley (guitar), Sham (drums) and Karl Lean (bass), who recorded a number of demos which attracted interest from overseas labels.

Fragmenta are a Thrash/Heavy Metal band from Adelaide South Australia, formed in April 2007. It consists of Duncan Fisher on guitar and vocals, Zac Backs on guitar, Mike Ward on bass guitar and Cameron Hynd on drums. Fragmenta's sound takes influence primarily from Bay Area Thrash and Classic Heavy Metal combined with progressive and melodic songwriting styles while adopting the tight rhythmic qualities of modern metal stylings.

Demonic Tempest

Hailing from the border north east of Victoria (Albury/Wodonga),Australia. Demonic Tempest are a 5 piece brutal melodic thrash/death metal outfit. Started in mid 2006, the band made their first public performance in June, and has since brought their unique sound and energy to various shows around the area. The 'hybrid' band consist of some of the most well know metal musicians from the region. Alex, Sam and Rhys formerly from well known border band 'Newskin', Tom formerly from hardcore/metal act 'Seraphyn', and Daniel a close friend and fellow metaler of the band.

Meltdown could refer to one of several bands:
1) Meltdown is a Hardcore/Thrash Metal band with members based in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. They have released two eps and a 7" with the most recent being "Demolition", released in the summer of 2007 on Malfunction records. The band often play shows with Shipwreck and other MVHC related bands.
2) Short-lived project of former/present members of Crainium, Crom-Tech, All Scars, Emergency, and Metamatics, circa 1996.
