Game Over

There are several artists with this name: 1) Game Over is a heavy metal band from Sweden. It was formed in 1998 by guitarist Wire McQuaid (the stage name of Elisabeth Pezouvanis). Game Over's songs are arrangements of video game music, primarily that of games for the Nintendo Entertainment System such as The Legend of Zelda and Mega Man 2. Game Over has produced two demo albums: Nintendo Metal (2002) and NESperado (2006). Some of their songs are available free of charge at OverClocked ReMix.

Nevermore

Nevermore is an American metal band from Seattle, Washington. Their precise musical style is debated by fans and critics alike. The band incorporates elements from styles such as Doom, Thrash, Power, and progressive metal into their songs, and also makes use of acoustic guitars and a wide range of vocal styles. They started in the beginning of the 1990s, when the band Sanctuary was pressured by its recording label to change its musical style, switching from heavy metal to grunge, which was obtaining mainstream success at the time due to bands such as Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

The whole story began in the year 2000. It was just another alcohol-fueled Friday night, and after a while the boys (Ville and Sakke) decided that the world needs another melodic metal band. There can never be enough those around. And since they had been playing in bands practically all their lives, they felt that this should be a piece of cake. After all,how hard can it be to form a band? A rehearsal was scheduled.

6. An obscure punk band from Weybridge, UK active during the late 70s. They released 2 singles - "Priorities b/w Look" & "N-n-e-r-v-o-u-s b/w Page 3 (Dumb Blondes)" - on Polydor records in 77 and 78 respectively.

Black Majesty

There are several bands sharing the name Black Majesty. A melodic power metal band from Melbourne, Australia. So far they have released four LPs; 'Sands of Time' (2003), 'Silent Company' (2005), 'Tomorrowland' (2007) and "In Your Honour (2010). The band was formed in 2001 under the name Kymera and with various members already well known on the local metal and heavy rock scene. Guitarist Steve Janevski was drawn from Cyclone Tracy, a long-running heavy rock/hair metal outfit.

Van Halen

Van Halen is an international hard rock band formed in the early-1970s, originally called Mammoth (before being called Van Halen, one of the band's ideas for a name was Rat Salade). The band's first studio album, "Van Halen", released in 1978 is widely regarded as a milestone in rock music. With this first release, the band, featuring David Lee Roth on vocals, Michael Anthony on bass, and Dutch-born Edward Van Halen on guitars (and also keyboards later) and brother Alex Van Halen on drums, established itself as a leader in the emerging and commercially successful U.

Steel Panther

In 2008, Metal Skool changed their name to Steel Panther.

Steel Panther is a Los Angeles, California based glam metal parody band founded by former LA Guns vocalist Ralph Saenz (Michael Starr). Originally formed as "Metal Skool" and "Metal Shop" they're known for their energetic live show, the longest running metal show on the Sunset Strip. On stage, the band both pays tribute to and lampoons the heyday of 80's glam metal. The band's between-song comedy includes jests at conflict between band members, discussions of drugs, sex, and improvised humor with the crowd.
