Black Label Society

Black Label Society is a heavy metal band formed by former Ozzy Osbourne/Pride & Glory guitar player Zakk Wylde in Los Angeles, California in 1998. They have released ten albums to date, eight of which are studio albums. The band, aside from Wylde consists of bassist John "JD" Deservio, drummer Will Hunt, and fellow guitarist Nick "The Evil Twin" Catanese. The band is not to be confused with Zakk Wylde's solo project (sometimes known as Book of Shadows after its only album) or with Pride & Glory, Wylde's southern rock band.

Quiet Riot

Quiet Riot is an american heavy metal band, whose 1983 chart topping success helped pave the way for the glam metal scene's next decade of commercial prominence. They are best known for their Metal Health album, which displaced Michael Jackson’s Thriller album from the #1 chart spot. They were founded in 1975 by guitarist Randy Rhoads ( later with Ozzy Osbourne) with the original lineup featuring Kevin DuBrow (whose Steve Marriott influenced vocals powered most of their hits), as well as Kelly Garni (bass) and Drew Forsyth (drums).

Paul Di'Anno

Paul Di'Anno began his professional musical career singing with <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Iron+Maiden" class="bbcode_artist">Iron Maiden</a> in 1978. His style has been described as more punk-influenced than Iron Maiden's following vocalist Bruce Dickinson. Di'Anno left the band after two albums, the reasons for so vary between sources; either leaving by his own will or being sacked due to excessive drug and drinking habits with a conflicting personality . Despite his short tenure in the band, Paul Di'Anno is seen as a major factor in the early development of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement.

Taking Dawn

The members of Taking Dawn grew up surrounded by the glitz and glam, the bright lights and big city of constant vice. This LasVegas upbringing helped shaped the band into what it is today: a rock 'n roll timebomb just waiting to explode on an unsuspecting public with its Roadrunner debut, Time to Burn. "We've spent our whole lives in Las Vegas and we're the only people from Las Vegas who didn't turn into smack dealers," says vocalist/guitarist Chris Babbitt, showcasing his signature humor.

The whole story began in the year 2000. It was just another alcohol-fueled Friday night, and after a while the boys (Ville and Sakke) decided that the world needs another melodic metal band. There can never be enough those around. And since they had been playing in bands practically all their lives, they felt that this should be a piece of cake. After all,how hard can it be to form a band? A rehearsal was scheduled.

They have one self-titled 7", an full length LP titled "Paper Thrones", a live tape recorded at 924 Gilman, and a split with Acts of Sedition. 2) Surrender is also a well known band from Zeeland (a province of the Netherlands). They play solid dialectrock in "Zeeuwsch dialect".

Trivium

Trivium is a band from Orlando, Florida. Their first album, Ember To Inferno, was released on Lifeforce Records in 2003, while their second album Ascendancy was released via Roadrunner Records on March 22nd, 2005. They recently released their third album, "The Crusade", on which the band's sound changed slightly, replacing screaming with clean singing and settling on a heavily Metallica-influenced style.

Metallica

Metallica is an American metal band formed in 1981 in Los Angeles, California, United States when drummer Lars Ulrich posted an advertisement in The Recycler. Metallica’s line-up originally consisted of Ulrich, rhythm guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, and lead guitarist Dave Mustaine. Mustaine was later fired due to problems with alcoholism and drug addiction - he went on to form the band Megadeth. Exodus guitarist Kirk Hammett took his place.
