Pinback

Pinback are an indie rock band from San Diego, California, currently signed to Temporary Residence Ltd.. The band was formed in 1998 by singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Armistead Burwell Smith IV (also known as Zach Smith, a former member of Three Mile Pilot and the primary member of Systems Officer) and Rob Crow formerly of Thingy, Heavy Vegetable, and Goblin Cock. First acquainted as roommates, they began making recordings in their home, playing along to pre-recorded beats. Today, the band has 2 drummers that switch off and on, Chris Prescott, and Tom Zinser.

Shout Out Louds

Shout Out Louds are an indie rock band from Stockholm, Sweden. The band consists of 'four boys and one girl': Adam Olenius (vocals, guitar), Ted Malmros (bass), Carl von Arbin (guitar), Eric Edman (drums) and Bebban Stenborg (keyboards, vocals). Their original name was Luca Brasi after the infamous muscle guy and personal enforcer of Don Vito Corleone from the Godfather films, until they realized another band shared that name. The band started in 2001. All members had been friends since they were young.

The Cavalcade

There are multiple bands that go by the name of Cavalcade. 1.The Cavalcade are an indie pop band from the rain-swept town of Preston in the north of England, inspired by bands such as Felt, The Clientele and The Field Mice. Formed in 2009, they released their debut EP, Meet You In The Rain, in May of that year. There are at least 4 bands known as Bears: 1. An indie pop band from Cleveland, Ohio. The band consists of Craig Ramsey (drums, vocals, keys, bells, tambourine, guitar, bass) and Charlie McArthur (guitar, vocals, bass, bells). Bears released a self-titled CD/LP in 2006, an EP called Shortest Day of the Year in 2007, a 7" single called Who Knows in 2008, a second album, Simple Machinery, in 2008, a 7" called Snowman in 2009. 4 handsome gents who came together in 2005. Drawing influence from pop throughout the ages, combined with a distinct DIY ethic. Recently releasing a 7' Single containing the song 'Mirror Ball' offers a taste of a soon to be released album.

Slow Club

Slow Club are Charles Watson and Rebecca Taylor from Sheffield, United Kingdom. They sing using quirky lyrics, a variety of percussion instruments and great vocal interplay. They are currently releasing singles on Moshi Moshi Records and have been on nationwide tours with bands such as Fionn Regan, Noisettes, Hot Club de Paris, Tilly and the Wall, Jamie T and Jeremy Warmsley. The pair have released a series of EPs: Because We're Dead, Me And You, Let's Fall Back in Love, Christmas TV and It Doesn't Have To Be Beautiful. Their debut album, Yeah So, was released on 7 July 2009.

Passion Pit

Passion Pit is an electronic band which formed in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States in 2007. They consist of Michael Angelakos (vocals, keyboards), Ian Hultquist (keyboards, guitar), Ayad Al Adhamy (synth, samples), Jeff Apruzzese (bass, keyboard) and Nate Donmoyer (drums). "Passion Pit" was a vocabulary word used in a class Mike took in school. It's a slang word for a drive-in movie theatre where kids used to go to make out.
