In mid 1998 the live music scene in Sydney, Australia sucked!! Rock bands were replaced by indie noodling and angst ridden grunge burnouts who would never admit to loving rock moves or monster lickage. The fools. It was around this time Troy Scerri, Charlie O'Neill and Dave Tomley began to assemble a band with a desire to play the kind of music they listened to at home, but found it impossible to find on the live circuit. They recruited the brutal Mark Mills and doom lord Jason Breitfuss and =DAREDEVIL= evolved.

Kronos Quartet is a string quartet founded by violinist David Harrington in 1973. Since 1978, the quartet has been based in San Francisco, California. The longest-running combination of performers (1978–1999) had Harrington and John Sherba on violin, Hank Dutt on viola and Joan Jeanrenaud on cello. Jennifer Culp replaced Jeanrenaud on cello in 1999. Jeffrey Zeigler replaced Culp on cello in 2005.

TaikOz is a percussion - largely taiko - ensemble based in Sydney, Australia. The ensemble was founded in 1997 by <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Ian+Cleworth" class="bbcode_artist">Ian Cleworth</a> and shakuhachi dai-shihan, grand master <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Riley+Lee" class="bbcode_artist">Riley Lee</a>. The group now features eight performers, all exponents of wadaiko, or Japanese drumming. TaikOz performs year-round, as well as providing classes to interested members of the public. The ensemble has released three CDs: Taiko No Sekai, Live At Angel Place (a live recording, also released on DVD) and Daichi... Big Earth.

Kaki King (born 24th August 1979 as Katherine Elizabeth King) is an American guitarist and singer from Atlanta, Georgia, United States. While Kaki King is unlikely to give up her job as a singer and guitarist extraordinaire, she wouldn’t mind being a secret agent for a day at some shadowy foreign intelligence agency. A fan of Cold War history, the New York-based artist finds espionage work appealing for the opportunity to don a disguise and speak in a foreign accent. More importantly, she likes the idea of actually convincing somebody that she is somebody else.
