There are at least three bands with this name: "Broadway(FL) burst back into the scene in 2007 with the release of their self titled EP. Recorded and produced by Lee Dyess (From First to Last,Chasing Victory, Mayday Parade) the cd showcases the many sides of the band. The powerful drums are the backbone to the cd, and the guitars and vocals can only be described as melodic yet intense. The EP is lined with music that goes from a beautiful masterpiece, to a creative and unique destruction in a matter of seconds, all while somehow keeping the focus on the catchy vocals.

Hailing from Adelaide, South Australia. Forming in early 2006, ABANDON ALL HOPE quickly grabbed a name for themselves in the Australia Metal/Hardcore circuit with a solid live show and a hugely successful first release under their belts, the sky is the limit for this young metalcore outfit. Sleeping Giant represent a great and terrible day when all living things will return to dust; and their sound is as formidable as one might suspect the apocalypse should be. Sleeping Giant charged onto the Redlands, CA scene in 2006 with their bold and powerful live show, where in addition to being entranced by ominous guitars, crowds are met with burning passion from articulate front man Thom Green. The sincerity behind the words that pour out from Greens mouth is deeply rooted in the bands unwavering love for The Lord.

Since their inception, The Matador have continued to cast themselves apart from the Australian mainstream of heavy music by pushing the boundaries of sound experimentation. Their progressive and dark undertoned layers of music range from down tempo, complex soundscape arrangements to epic, driving walls of earth crushingly heavy guitars, drums and vocals. With an imminent EP release on the way, expect to see The Matador continue to push these boundaries.
