MOJADA are the 2010 MusicOz Australian Independent Rock Artists of the year. After being nominated as Top 5 finalists in both the ‘Rock’ and ‘Dance’ categories MOJADA joined this years winners list which included Art vs Science, The Jezabels and Dallas Fresca. The win has topped an impressive start to 2010 after their recent single release ‘Find A Way’ became the #6 most added track to radio in Australia & spent 5 weeks on the AIR Top 20 Radio charts.

Geoff Achison

Now residing back in Australia, Geoff Achison has clearly earned a loyal US following since moving to Atlanta from Melbourne in 2007. Guitar Player Magazine readers voted Achison one of the “Top Ten Hottest New Guitarists” in the world in 2008. Having taught himself to play in the isolation of rural Australia, he has developed a blues/funk style all his own. Unaware of how the sounds he was hearing on his limited record collection were produced, he invented some of his own techniques - without the aid of pedals or gadgets.

The Inbetweeners

The Inbetweeners is a BAFTA award-winning British sitcom which has aired since 2008 and running three series for the television channel E4 so far. Written by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, the show follows the life of suburban teenager Will (Simon Bird), and three of his friends at the fictional Rudge Park Comprehensive.
The show has been nominated for 'Best Situation Comedy' at BAFTA twice, in 2009 and 2010.

Lumiere

There are multiple artists with this name: 1) A Japanese artist. 2) Lumiere is an Irish group consisting of two fine female voices, Éilís Kennedy and Pauline Scanlon. Both of them come from the small Kerry town of Dingle. Their sound recalls very early Joan Baez - just perfectly tuned voice with acoustic instruments. On their 2010 album, Lumiere, they sing seven songs in English - all in the Irish tradition - and four in Irish Gaelic.

Fifty Six is Joel Chapen, a solo artist from Los Angeles. His music is nostalgic shoegaze with folk roots, a lush atmospheric pop music with breathy ethereal vocals over down tempo electronic music. Joel’s haunting vocal sound carries the listener into the somber mood of Fifty Six with a dreamy sadness. The songs arrangements carry a feeling of plaintive harmony on the back of his classical acoustic guitars’ muted warmth. There is a profound sense of nostalgia that permeates all of the music of Fifty Six.

Besides playing on the decks, Soul T has been a DJ since 2002, but nowadays he also make a lot of own productions. He started his music career from making hip-hop tracks and that music was used in few films by Jan Komasa, the first film "Nice to See You" won the third prize at Cinefondation Short Film Award in Cannes in 2004. A year later, a few tracks were used in "Oda do radosci".

A driving force behind the band Goanna when in 1982 they released the album "Spirit of Place" which contained the hit single "Solid Rock". After the release of their second album the band went their separate ways and Shane launched a successful solo career as a folk, country rock artist. Songs he wrote have also been recorded by artists such as John Farnham and Mary Black.

Horse Meat Disco is dedicated to the industry of human happiness and it pumps it out every Sunday at THE EAGLE LONDON (formerly South Central). Its the queer party for everyone; Homos and Heteros, club kids, bears, fashionistas, naturists, guerilla drag queens and ladies who munch. Musically its a disco behemoth of classics, italo disco, oddities, punk funk in the friendliest venue south of the river. Plus weekly buffet, happy hour, decorations, and spontaneous acts of exhibitionism.
