Brianna Carpenter remembers her childhood and the times she used to play Barbies whilst listening to Elton John. Ever since then Brianna has been fascinated by song writing and has developed through other musical influences such as Jamie Cullum, Ben Folds Regina Spektor and Bic Runga. Brianna now creates a mix of Folky Alternative Pop. Even though she was born completely deaf in one ear this has not stopped Brianna’s drive to compose. Brianna began song writing at the age of 13 and after writing her first real song "The Web" people started to recognize her talent.

The Savages was a 60s psychedelic garage band from India. Founded in 1967 by Bashir Sheikh, the Savages went beyond playing cover versions, and started writing their own material.They recorded their first EP with HMV in 1967, the first album that came out of this Polydor contract was titled The Savages, Live, containing mostly cover versions, and one original composition titled "PIO". The Bites were a 3-piece band from Melbourne, Australia. They formed in 2001 and dissolved in late 2005. The songs are the most important thing. They are short, sharp, state their point and then they stop. Rhythm and melody are equally crucial in The Bites. The nucleus of The Bites are Kirsty and Rene. Other members have come and gone since the band started in 2001. Their philosophy is one of maintaining true independence and complete artistic control over all aspects of their music.
