Bass Drum of Death is a garage rock band based in Oxford, Mississippi. Originally known as John Barrett's Bass Drum of Death they released their first EP ''Stain Stick Skin" in 2008.The band is now John and Colin. There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Jón Þór Birgisson, aka Jónsi, is the guitarist and vocalist for the Icelandic band Sigur Rós. He is universally known for his soft inimitable falsetto voice. He has also released an album as one half of Jónsi & Alex with his boyfriend Alex Somers, formerly of the band Parachutes. Jónsi's solo album, Go, was released on April 6th 2010. Fitz & the Tantrums are an American soul group from Los Angeles, California. The group was founded by Michael Fitzpatrick, who had begun writing soul music for a solo project on an old church organ he had purchased. He added friend James King to the group as an arranger and soon after expanded the band to a seven-piece, including several horns. Fitzpatrick shares the vocal duties with Noelle Scaggs.
