Shane Howard

A driving force behind the band Goanna when in 1982 they released the album "Spirit of Place" which contained the hit single "Solid Rock". After the release of their second album the band went their separate ways and Shane launched a successful solo career as a folk, country rock artist. Songs he wrote have also been recorded by artists such as John Farnham and Mary Black.

Lucinda Williams

Lucinda Williams (born January 26, 1953) is an American rock, folk, and alt-country songwriter and singer. A three-time Grammy Award winner, she was named "America's best songwriter" by TIME magazine in 2002. Williams has garnered considerable critical acclaim but her commercial success has been moderate. She has a reputation as a perfectionist and as a slow worker when it comes to recording; six years passed between the release of her second and third albums. However, she frequently makes guest appearances on other artists' albums and contributes to compilations and soundtracks.

Eli Young Band

With roots firmly planted in the fertile musical soil of Texas, the Eli Young Band is a little bit country and a helluva lot of guitar-driven rock & roll. Their Carnival Recording Company debut, Level, finds them poised to bust out of the Lone Star State and bring their brand of music to a wider audience, as they make inroads into neighboring states and the wider Nashville country scene. The band was formed almost five years ago by Mike Eli who grew up just outside of Houston and James Young who hails from Irving, TX.

Steve Forde

Steve Forde was born in the regional farming centre of Cowra in 1977. His parents were battlers with a dream of one day rising from the dust and hard work they endured to owning their own property and sinking deep, long-lasting roots. It was to this end that young Steve spent most of his early childhood moving from town to town across NSW with his family. Where there was good work to be had, that's where the family would go. It was in these early years that simple life philosophies were deeply ingrained into this young man.

Felicity Urquhart

2006 started with a bang for Felicity at the Tamworth Music Festival, with the new album My Life being launched to thousands of fans in the main street, sellout concert, named a finalist in Female Vocalist of the Year at the CMAA Awards and was invited to join friend Russell Crowe and his band The Ordinary Fear Of God, to perform a duet on stage at the Golden Guitars. Felicity has spent the past few years writing songs for this latest album. Her focus was to be lyrically honest, remaining unaffected by musical trends, and by doing this, shes managed to create her own unique sound.

Kathryn Dawn Lang, OC (born November 2, 1961), better known under her stage name, k.d. lang, is a Grammy Award-winning Canadian singer and songwriter. She is regarded as one of Canada's foremost female vocalists, as well as a champion of legal equality for LGBT people. Her singing talent has lent itself to a wide range of genres, although earlier works, such as 'Angel With a Lariat' and 'Absolute Torch and Twang' (the last of which won her a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance) were predominantly country, with hints of jazz and salsa.

Justin Townes Earle

Justin Townes Earle walks the line between old time country and modern acoustic Indie music by breathing new life into Early country, blues and gospel forms. His first release, Yuma, was a stark and beautiful set of songs written while Earle was fresh out of rehab and is now re-released by Bloodshot Records, who have a further three albums on their catalogue. The Good Life, Midnight At the Movies (Americana award nominee) and the latest Harlem River Blues show Earle's characteristic charm, wit and rhythm to the forefront.
