With roots firmly planted in the fertile musical soil of Texas, the Eli Young Band is a little bit country and a helluva lot of guitar-driven rock & roll. Their Carnival Recording Company debut, Level, finds them poised to bust out of the Lone Star State and bring their brand of music to a wider audience, as they make inroads into neighboring states and the wider Nashville country scene. The band was formed almost five years ago by Mike Eli who grew up just outside of Houston and James Young who hails from Irving, TX.

Skipping Girl Vinegar are a 4-piece acoustic indie band based in Melbourne, Australia. Their music spans country, folk, indie rock and pop and comprise of Mark Lang (vocals/guitar), Chris Helm (drums/backing vocals), Sare Lang (bass/backing vocals) and Amanthi Lynch (keyboards). Beginning in 2006 with an extensive original repertoire established before playing live, they soon garnered several support slots including Bob Evans, The Lemonheads, The Shout Out Louds and Something for Kate, which, along with relentless gigging, saw their first single, 'One Chance' gain national airplay in mid-2007.

Bruce Molsky (b. Manhattan, New York, 1955) is an American fiddler, banjo player, guitarist, and singer. He primarily performs old-time music of the Appalachian region. He was born in 1955 at New York Infirmary in Manhattan, and grew up near St. James Park in The Bronx. His father, Milton, a mechanical engineer, was a first-generation American descendant of Jewish immigrants from Poland. As a young man, Bruce first became interested in blues music, but eventually became absorbed in old-time music while studying engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York beginning in 1972.
