2 artists with this name: 1) Heavy hardcore from Marshall, Missouri. Canyons is Four Guys Loud Amps and Oooh that Smell. Though they smoke alot of Pot, they stay busy putting out releases left and right.. Playing a dirty type of Hardcore they could easily be transplants to the Louisville area. Preferring to rock floors rather than stages. DIY is the Ethic. They take nothing for granted. There are at least three artists that go by the name of Lakes: *UK Post-Hardcore group (MusicBrainz) who have now changed their name to Kid Pang 1. US Indie group Seth Roberts (formerly of Watashi Wa) emerges with his latest project, Lakes. Featuring a melodic indie rock sound in the same vein as bands like Mae and former labelmate Copeland, Roberts diverges from Watashi Wa musically, while retaining a songwriting style that focuses on life, love, and hope. Photographs EP was officially released in September of 2006 on The Militia Group.

Rise To Remain

Rise To Remain are a London-based 5 piece metal band. They were formed in late 2006/early 2007 by Ben Tovey, Will Homer and Austin Dickinson under the name “Halide” as a side project to several of the band’s members other endeavors in music. Within a few months the band solidified their line-up and began playing local shows as well as travelling across the UK, seeking out shows. Halide recorded two EP’s, both of which saw a viral release through their Myspace, which eventually garnered attention from more legitimate local promoters...

A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life was an American rock band formed in Dayton, Ohio, in 2001. Their first record was a demo entitled" Four Bullets for One Girl," which sold its 500 copy run in 2 months. This brought them to the attention of Confined Records, with which they released an album entitled "Nine Reasons to Say Goodbye." Finally, they released a 6-song EP entitled "Paper Chromotagraphy: The Fade from Dark to Light" in the winter of 2003. In 2003, lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist JT Woodruff changed the name of the band to Hawthorne Heights with a different line-up.

There are several artists with the name Elder: 1) Elder is 3 piece stoner doom band from Boston. Atreyu

Atreyu is a five-piece metalcore band from Orange County, California, United States that formed in 1998. The band consists of vocalist Alex Varkatzas, guitarists Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel, bassist Marc McKnight and drummer and vocalist Brandon Saller. The band was originally named "Retribution" but, when they found out that another band from Hemet, California had been using the name, they changed their name to Atreyu," after the character from the fantasy movie The Neverending Story (by Michael Ende) .

A Skylit Drive is a six-piece post-hardcore band from Lodi/Galt California. They released their first EP, titled She Watched The Sky, with Tragic Hero Records in January 2007 and the follow-up full length album Wires... And the Concept of Breathing on May 20, 2008.
