Karma To Burn

Karma to Burn is an American instrumental stoner rock band. The band was formed in 1994, in Hicksville, West Virginia (actually Morgantown, West Virginia, though this was a running joke also reflected in bios of the band on other Web sites). The band is currently located in Los Angeles. Their instrumental album Almost Heathen is widely regarded as on par Kyuss' Welcome To Sky Valley and Monster Magnet's Spine of God, as one of the defining albums of the stoner rock genre, although the band themselves referred to their style as malternative.

Mother Mars

Mother Mars came into existence in 2002. They lean more towards a sound of heavy fuzzed-out grooves while also taking in elements of the psychedelic and doom.
They are based in Sydney, Australia and have been playing shows since 2003. In mid 2007 they released an ep called Take The Ride and an album 'Primitives' in early 2009.

Iota

There is more than one artist with this name:
1) iOTA is an Australian musician making his name not only in music, but on stage. He arrived on the music scene in 1999 with his debut album "The Hip Bone Connection". Since then he has had two ARIA Award nominations and gone on to release three more albums and a renowned EP "Little Carlos". In 2006 iOTA took to the stage as Hedwig Robinson, the lead of the cult musical Hedwig & the Angry Inch.

Monster Magnet

Monster Magnet is an American stoner metal/stoner rock band, often cited as one of the most successful and influential in the genre. Hailing from Red Bank, New Jersey, the group was founded by Dave Wyndorf (vocals and guitar), John McBain (guitar), Tom Diello (drums), and Tim Cronin (vocals and bass). The band first went under the name "Dog of Mystery" and later "Airport 75", before finally settling on "Monster Magnet".

Summonus formed in mid 2007 in Sydney, Australia through like-minded musicians wanting to create punishing and brutal sounds involving huge groove based guitar riffs, hauling powerful drums and acidic, gravel-fuelled vocals. Pod People

Pod People is an Australian doom metal band from Canberra. Their sound combines doom/stoner metal with death metal vocals. They have released three EPs, one album and one 7". Pod People have opened for the likes of doom masters Electric Wizard and Cathedral. The band recorded a new album over the later half of 2007 and early 08 and are looking to release their next album "Mons Animae Mortuorum" (Mountain of the Souls of the Dead) through Goatsound in Australia in August 2008 and hopefully Rise Above internationally.
