Grassroots Street Orchestra

Grassroots Street Orchestra began as a jam band to fill a set at a small Gold Coast hinterland folk festival in early 2005. In just two rehearsals they formed their unique sound blending Australian hip-hop with live original organic blues, roots, folk-rock and reggae. After a few months wondering what to do with their music they re-formed as a five piece at first then quickly grew to six. With members spread between Brisbane and the Gold Coast they began doing supports for Australian roots music artists such as Carus & The True Believers...

Ouch My Face

“Experimental punk-metal that you can dance to” – Christine Cassis, Rolling Stone Magazine Ouch My Face is a three-piece experimental punk band from Melbourne via rural Australia, who left home to avoid lives spent working in timber mills and butcher shops. Diminutive front-woman Celeste Potter cuts through the pummelling rhythm section like a diamond tipped chainsaw with her trademark banshee-like howls and chaotic lead guitar style.

Nick Zinner

Nick Zinner is a mostly known as guitarist for several bands and projects,
most notably for Yeah Yeah Yeahs. He plays in Head Wound City, a hardcore punk project with members of Blood Brothers and The Locust, recorded several guitar parts for TV on the Radio, supports Bright Eyes on stage and remixed songs for Bloc Party amongst others.
His also an avid contemporary photographer. His photography work has also been published in the books "I Hope You Are All Happy Now", "Slept In Beds", "No Seats on the Party Car", and "Please Take Me Off the Guest List".

Brad Strut

Brad Strut is an MC from Melbourne, Australia. He made his name through radio appearances in the early 90s and appeared on early releases from Bias B, Trem and Boney Stoney (Bias B and Brothers Stoney). His debut album "The Authentic" was released in 2001, after which he went on to form the Lyrical Commission with Trem and Bob Balans. LC released their debut "The Stage is Set" in 2002 and followed it up with the "Murderous Metaphors" EP in 2004.

Lakyn Heperi

Lakyn Heperi is a semi-pro skateboarder who transformed into a singer/songwriter after a broken ankle kept him off his board for 8 months. Lakyn started playing every day, not because he was aiming for anything in particular, but because it allowed him to express his frustration after the accident.
He recorded his music in his bedroom and put it up online and is now a YouTube sensation with tens of thousands of followers.

Georgia Fair

Jordan and Ben first became mates when their mutual passion, in exploring and writing new music, yearned to be shared. When not playing and writing, they were raiding their father’s album collections for inspiration and direction. With the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Crowded House and Simon and Garfunkel they were in good stead for the future. Also drawing from contemporary artists such as Fleet Foxes, Angus Stone & Bon Iver they have developed a great, fresh sound.

Karen O

Karen Lee Orzolek, better known as Karen O, is the lead vocalist for the New York rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs. She also performs as Karen O and the Kids. She was born on November 22, 1978 in South Korea. Karen's mother is Korean and father is Polish. Karen grew up in New Jersey, went to Dwight-Englewood high school, and attended Oberlin College, but transferred to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

The Happy Endings

The Happy Endings have just completed their full length debut album with renown producer Forrester Savell, who has worked with the likes of The Spazzys, Helmet, The Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, Sunk Loto and Gavin Rossdale, this will be released to co-incide with an Australian national tour in April 2008. The first taste of this album comes in the form of explosive debut single/filmclip "Get Around This" which is available RIGHT NOW through GREEN distribution, Waterfront Records and iTUNES.
