Groove Armada

Groove Armada is an electronic music group from Cambridge, United Kingdom, composed of two members, Andy Cato (real name Andrew Cocup) and Tom Findlay. They first came to fame with a 1997 limited single release, At The River (made famous after being used in various Marks & Spencer advertisements), which sampled "Old Cape Cod" by Patti Page. The song has since made its way onto numerous chill-out compilations.

The Orb

The Orb (sometimes credited as simply Orb) is a British electronic music band known for pioneering the genre of ambient house. The Orb is heavily influenced by dub music, and much of their later output has been in the electronic dub category, more so than ambient house. The group was formed in 1988 by Dr. Alex Paterson (full name Duncan Robert Alex Paterson) and Jimmy Cauty (one half of The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu and later The KLF). The Orb's first release was the acid house anthem "Tripping on Sunshine".

Elf Tranzporter

Marlon Porter aka. Elf Tranzporter is an eminent MC from Melbourne, Australia. Originally from Los Angeles CA, Elfs rhymes and unique unmissable sound have seen him tour the world. One of the founding members of seminal local hip hop group Meta Bass 'n' Breath, who's album cover was featured on DJ Shadows The Private Press artwork. A true all-rounder, Elf uses his skills as a hip hop performer to conduct workshops and tutor disadvantage and 'high-risk' kids at schools, community events and juvenile justice centres (from urban to outback).

Helena

There are multiple artists named Helena. 1) Helena (Helena Noguerra) is a Belgian-born successful actress, model and singer-songwriter. She sings and writes her own lyrics in French, English and Portuguese. She has worked as a radio DJ, covered Kylie Minogue's "I just can’t get you out of my head" in a very sensual version and published two novels. While still modelling, she met up with musicians, did some collaborations and also met Philippe Katerine who did most of the composing and producing of their two rather different projects.

Mat McHugh

The devolution of Mat McHugh. That’s what we’re talking about. Bands get bigger over time. Music gets louder. Everything evolves, there is nothing which doesn’t change over time. Some artists keep trying to find bigger mountains to climb, others make a conscious effort to crawl back into the sea. In 2002 the frontman and creative force behind The Beautiful Girls began riding the wave as the band’s Morning Sun EP became the radio hit of the Australian Summer.

Kaskade

Kaskade is the stage name for Ryan Raddon, a DJ/producer/remixer/artist who was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1972, raised in Salt Lake City, Utah as a teen, and now calls San Francisco, California home. Prior to being a recording artist, he was a record store owner and a club DJ at a nightclub in Salt Lake City as a way to make ends meet for he and his wife. After he and his wife moved to San Francisco he landed a job as a A&R man at OM records, where in addition to reviewing demos for the label he also submitted his own material, which would pay off big time for him.

Not to be confused with Various Artists. Various was the original moniker of the English dubstep/electronic duo formed in 2003, more commonly known as Various Production. Their debut album, The World Is Gone was released under this name.

Kito - What If / Cold (3) Kito is a recording name for Kjell Tore Sandersen, a musician from Porsgrunn, Norway. Kito has one track on the compilation "maskindans - Norsk synth 1980-1988", released in 2009 by Hommage Records.

Sia

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, to use the name her musician parents gave her, already has a staggering track record. If her name itself - pronounced 'See-ah' - isn't familiar to millions, her voice undoubtedly is. In 2000, the Adelaide born singer scored a bolt from the blue Top 10 hit with her debut single, Taken for Granted. Pairing her unique Australian drawl with the strident strings from Sergei Prokofiev's 'Romeo & Juliet', the track was championed by Trevor Nelson and had Sia performing live on Jo Whiley's Radio 1 show.

Röyksopp

Röyksopp is an electronic music duo formed in 1998 in Tromsø, Norway and currently based in Bergen, Norway. The band consists of Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge, both being songwriters, producers and remixers. They usually rely on the use of other vocalists for their songs and occasionally they perform the vocal parts. The Norwegian word "røyksopp" means puffball fungus (literally "smoke mushroom").
