Allo Darlin'

Allo Darlin' are many things. They can turn a room in a famous punk venue into a joyous, jumping, sweaty, pop-mosh pit. Or bring a room of 500 to hushed silence with the few strums of a ukulele and a love song about cooking. They're close friends that found each other and the music they make in London. Elizabeth and Bill are from Australia, Mike and Paul are from Kent. They've only been playing seriously as a band since January 2009, although Elizabeth has been releasing music under various guises since 2007.

Dappled Cities

Dappled Cities (formerly Dappled Cities Fly) are a five-piece indie rock band from Sydney, Australia. Their music has been described as art rock or experimental pop. Their guitar-based songs typically combine melodies with the complex time signatures and tempo changes associated with post rock. Occasional falsetto vocals and the use of effects pedals (delay in particular) are also characteristic of their sound.

The Wild Frontier

The Wild Frontier is a militant religious organisation that operates under the guise of a band. Digging under the surface of their sickly sweet pop and prolix power ballads you will discover a festering underbelly of religious zeal and the desire to install theocratic rule in the inner-shire of Sydney, Australia. Putting aside their subversive religo-political agenda The Wild Frontier are an interesting and well loved band that like warm fires, cuddles and belly rubs.

Enola Fall

“On their MGM debut, EF’s strident, oft-operatic tunes come across like Dappled Cities gone cabaret, but with more menace... This is glorious indie-pop manna.” RAVE magazine “Superb pop, with just a hint of theatricality.” Dom Alessio - Triple J “For guys that aren’t presently known world-wide they seem to be teetering on the verge of a breakthrough moment,” onetimesone.com “Essentially, what we have here is one of those increasingly rare acts that manage to blend technical proficiency with mainstream appeal and a sound to soothe the ears of pitchfork reviewers.” Buzz magazine.

Darwin Smith writes, records, produces and arranges using a 4-string electric guitar in his own invented, secret tuning. Five years ago, he left Wesleyan University (and friends MGMT and Boy Crisis) to start a band in New York City. Summer Cats

Summer Cats are two girls and three boys from Melbourne, Australia. Like most people from Melbourne, they spend their time either: a) enjoying summer or b) waiting for summer to arrive. They play crash pop in an attempt to make you dance, so if you feel the urge...go right ahead! Musically they are somewhat of a cross between Stereolab and The Go-Betweens....or is that Talulah Gosh and The Left Banke?
