http://www.myspace.com/okerametal Okera are a 4-piece Melodic Death / Doom band from Melbourne, Australia. They were founded by Jayme in the later months of 2006, purely as a studio side-project. As time went on, the project became more serious, and in mid 2008, the line-up as it is today was completed. They've been playing gigs around Melbourne since mid 2009, and have shared the stage with other local talents Be'lakor, Arbrynth, Rainshadow and Wood of Suicides. Their music is melodic death / doom metal rooted in progressive rock, with melancholic overtones; and dark, subtle nuances.

Talbot

Talbot is a down-tempo / psychedelic duo highly inspired by doom and experimental genre music from Tallinn, Estonia. Formed in year 2003, but real activity started in August 2008. The mythical and sacred fire-being phoenix lives a thousand years and perishes in flames after building a nest. Few are those who know that the bird leaves behind two eggs - a white one and a black one. From the white a new phoenix hatches, but what might emerge from the black, nobody knows.

Austin-based doom band, Destroyer of Light, formed in the beginning of 2012. Each member coming from different bands wanted create slow, heavy, riff-induced music and bring it to the masses. Gathering influences from a variety of different styles, each member brings their flavor to the table, and the music speaks for itself. Their drummer also joined French doom-metal band <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Rising+Dust" class="bbcode_artist">Rising Dust</a>.

James Walker

There are two artists with this name: James Walker is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist musician based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Walker has numerous band appearances to his credit. His current solo project is also his first. James Walker (other names include "Jay-Jay", "Strawberry Blonde Gangster" and "Go away") is also an upcoming and promising solo artist who's track record includes allegedly playing keyboard with led zeppelin and the white stripes. This has never been proved as his image cannot be captured on camera and his existence is still only myth.

Rituals of the Oak are a traditional doom metal band from Sydney, Australia, formed in 2009 by previous members of Transcending Mortality and Lycanthia. High on Fire

High on Fire is a stoner metal band originally formed from the remnants of the legendary stoner band Sleep. Matt Pike, from Sleep, sings and plays guitar in High on Fire and founded the band with George Rice (bass) and Des Kensel (drums). High on Fire's sound is extremely heavy, drawing influences from the aforementioned Sleep, Motörhead, and even hardcore punk. The Oakland, California band formed in 1998 and released 'The Art of Self Defense' on Man's Ruin Records, in March 2000.
