With his third album Songs From The 86 Tram fresh on the shelves, The Bedroom Philosopher is teaming up with his partners in crime The Awkwardstra for a massive national album launch tour. As The Bedroom Philosopher himself puts it: "my live show is both a remarkably memorable life changing experience and cause for major concern." The Awkwardstra were handpicked from ’Indie Snobs Anonymous’, a self-help group for displaced Melbourne musicians (feat. members of The Paradise Motel & The Brunettes) and provide pitch-perfect tightness to the Philosopher’s helter skelter.

Hailing from Melbourne (Australia), Mal Webb is a world-renowned vocal gymnast, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. When live he has a loop pedal that allows him to record a loop live and then sing/play over the top of the loop. Watch this YouTube video for an idea. Aside from solo performance he is also well known for the many bands he has been involved with - most notably Totally Gourdgeous, Oxo Cubans and Bomba.

Stu Larsen has no fixed address, no job, few possessions and little money - just a lot of generous friends who seem to let him sleep on their floor or couch, or in their spare room as he ventures onward. He is also the head of Maybe Horse, a Maybe Mars sub-label dedicated to supporting and developing Beijing’s and China’s most innovative folk and ethnic musicians.
