The Author
Two bands with the same name. 1) Many of the tracks listed here are errors, as audio production software Nuendo and Cubase automatically tag the mp3 exports as The Author - The Title as default. Hence unnamed mp3s are tagged as such.
However, The Author are also a band from The Channel Islands, who sound like a mixture between The Streets and Klaxons, if you can imagine such a thing. You can find them here http://www.myspace.com/theauthormusic

There are two bands named WILD FLAG: an American indie rock quartet, and a Japanese hard rock band. 1. WILD FLAG is a Portland, OR and Washington DC based quartet consisting of Carrie Brownstein, Mary Timony, Rebecca Cole, and Janet Weiss. The members of WILD FLAG have played in numerous and notable bands, including but not limited to: Helium, The Minders, Croissant Cocktail, Feeble Knees, Quasi, Dogz, Sleater-Kinney, @@@, The Consortium, Asia, and Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks. WILD FLAG released their eponymous debut album on September 13, 2011 via Merge Records.

Bears
There are at least 4 bands known as Bears: 1. An indie pop band from Cleveland, Ohio. The band consists of Craig Ramsey (drums, vocals, keys, bells, tambourine, guitar, bass) and Charlie McArthur (guitar, vocals, bass, bells). Bears released a self-titled CD/LP in 2006, an EP called Shortest Day of the Year in 2007, a 7" single called Who Knows in 2008, a second album, Simple Machinery, in 2008, a 7" called Snowman in 2009. Boys Boys Boys! is an indie pop band from Perth, Australia which consists of members Jade Foo, Alwyn Nixon Lloyd, Bridget Turner, Mike Murphy, Jerico Wallace and Daniel Grant. After making waves in the Perth music scene with their infectious sound, the band released their debut album Yes through Interia Records in March 2009. According to the band's website:

Feedback Dancer are a four piece rock band formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2009. They released their debut self-titled EP in early 2010. Liz Ghargori's "Whitney Houston" inspired voice soars above the twanging guitar, bouncing bass and thundering drums of Nyk Lee, Ben Harberts and Scott Hardman.

hunz
Hunz is a three-piece electronic pop band, spearheaded by Brisbane-based electronic musician and producer, Hans Van Vliet. With a background in music programming and motion design, Hans pulls his notes out of a binary soup of ones and zeroes, hand-crafting synth patches and beats from scratch. The result is a mix of pulsating, glitchy electronics and ethereal vocals that hint at the sinister, but succumb to the pleasure of pop hooks instead.
