The Trews are a Canadian rock group from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, consisting of vocalist Colin MacDonald, guitarist John-Angus MacDonald, bassist Jack Syperek, and drummer Sean Dalton. The band are currently based in Toronto, Ontario. The band started off with the name One I'd Trouser, before changing their name to Trouser and eventually The Trews. They released an EP as Trouser, and a second EP under the name "The Trews."

Radiohead are an English alternative rock band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The band is composed of Thom Yorke (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano, beats), Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar, keyboard, other instruments), Ed O'Brien (guitar, backing vocals), Colin Greenwood (bass guitar) and Phil Selway (drums, percussion). There are two bands with the name Gyroscope. The first is a post-grunge rock band from Perth, Western Australia. Gyroscope started as Gyroscope Sunday in Perth in 1997 with Daniel Sanders on guitar/vocals, Zoran Trivic on guitar/vocals, Brad Campbell on bass/vocals and Rob Nassif on drums. They recorded their first demo cassette in 1998 and took up playing regularly on the Perth live circuit whilst also finding time for work and school commitments.
Grinspoon are an Australian post-grunge band from Lismore, Australia, fronted by Phil Jamieson with Pat Davern on guitar, Joe Hansen on bass and Kristian Hopes on drums. Founded in 1995, they came to fame when they were Unearthed by national, commercial-free radio station Triple J thanks to their track Sickfest. This won them the competition for the Lismore area. The band was heavily influenced by "grunge" music in their early career, including the band Helmet, and developed a strong following among mosh pit crowds.
Violent Soho are a four piece band from Mansfield, Brisbane. Band members Luke Boerdam, James Tidswell, Luke Henry and Michael Richards attended school together. Their debut EP, Pigs and T.V., was released in early 2006 and recieved wide acclaim; 'Blunt Magazine' hailing Violent Soho's Vines-esque sound as "boisterous pop rock reviving the spirit of the grunge era". Recently joining The Grates on a national tour and playing local 4zzz festival Market Day, Violent Soho have burst onto the Brisbane music scene, offering a raw yet fresh element to the already rich musical tapestry of the city.

The Lemonheads are an American alternative rock band, originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but now based in New York City. The primary (and only consistent) member is Evan Dando.
The band formed in 1986 as an underground punk rock act. Their popularity grew during the following decade with the 1992 album It's A Shame About Ray, which was produced, engineered, and mixed by The Robb Brothers (Bruce Robb, Dee, and Joe), followed by a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's "Mrs. Robinson", which eventually became one of the band's most successful singles.

Cited as one of the most important alternative rock groups, The Lemonheads were active until 1997 and went on hiatus, but reformed with a new lineup in 2005 and released The Lemonheads in the following year. Switchfoot is an alternative rock band from San Diego, California, United States. The band was formed in 1996 with the brothers Jon Foreman (lead singer/guitarist) and Tim Foreman (bass). Long-time friend Chad Butler (drums) joined soon after. Eventually the band evolved to what it is today with the addition of members Jerome Fontamillas (key/guitar/electronics - formerly of Mortal and Fold Zandura) and Drew Shirley (guitar - formerly of All Together Separate).
