The Melodics

The Melodics are a cross genre band. They mess around with New wave, Synthpop, 2 Tone and Hip-Hop to create some damn fresh flavours... Crowds get down to it; they dance, they sing, they think and they get into Electro-Dionysian trances. Melodics play colourful music for a grey world. They have painted a fluorescent foundation across Australia selling thousands of EP's including The Glen Shnieblic EP and the Nought n' Crosses EP. They have played along side such acts as Dizzee Rascal, Lyrics Born, TZU and Jackson Jackson and have come out crowd favourites at festivals like Woodford.

D'Opus and Roshambo

Aussie hip hop group based in Canberra, Australia. In 2006, D'Opus and Roshambo released their debut EP, "The Question" and had it distributed by notable Aussie Hip Hop label Obese Records. D'Opus and Roshambo are currently working on their LP due for release in 2008.

Maya Jupiter

Maya Jupiter is an Australian rapper & radio personality. Maya was born in La Paz, Mexico. She is of mixed Mexican and Turkish origin. Her family moved to Melbourne, Victoria when she was one year old, they then relocated to Sydney, New South Wales when she was four. She grew up in Busby, a suburb in South-Western Sydney. In 2003 she released her first album entitled Today, on Mother Tongues, the first label in the world dedicated to developing women in hip-hop music.

Layla

Layla is a by-product of the seemingly endless talent flowing from the West Australian music scene. As a lyricist, poet and pen smith Layla does not ever mince words. Her effortless delivery and strong emphasis on subject matter have become a trademark of her sound. Layla is also the name of the Slovak rising pop singer and dancer. Her own name is Kristína Tranová. Layla is also the name of an all-female visual kei band founded by two of the members from the disbanded Necro Circus. Bias B is an acclaimed rapper from Melbourne, Australia. He started his career as a graffiti artists and became instrumental in the development of the Australian Hip Hop scene. He has four releases.
