The Whitest Boy Alive

The Whitest Boy Alive is a musical group based in Berlin. The band comprises Norwegian singer/guitarist Erlend Øye, who is also a member of the band Kings Of Convenience, bassist Marcin Öz, drummer Sebastian Maschat, and Daniel Nentwig on Rhodes piano and Crumar. Erlend Øye is from Norway, while the rest of the band is German. They started as an electronic dance music project in 2003 in Berlin, but have since slowly developed into a band with no programmed elements.

David Myles

There are several artists named David Myles: 1) Canadian singer-songwriter David Myles' second full-length album, "Things Have Changed", is the latest in a long line of musical achievements. At age eleven, he was a finalist in the Connaught Street School lip synch contest for his version of "Heartbreak Hotel". Ten years later, Myles played with a blues band in a Chinese soccer stadium. The show was televised to millions of people. Back in Canada, he opened for west-coast rap group "The Rascalz" as a beat-boxer. This year he played trumpet on recent but unreleased Buck 65 recordings.

Everything Everything are based in Manchester, hailing originally from the Newcastle/Northumberland area, as well as Kent. Their music has been described as 'surrealist neo-classical avant-pop for the digital age'. Influences include: Michael Jackson, The Beatles, The Smiths, Ezra Pound, Steve Reich and Destiny's Child. The vehicle for the pop genius of Joe McAlinden. Joe was previously a member of The Groovy Little Numbers, and recorded for 53rd and 3rd Records of Edinburgh. He has been in Bellshill scene bands with members of Teenage Fanclub, Soup Dragons and The BMX Bandits. They released a mini-album in 1992 on Creation Records called greatest Hits Vol. One. This featured Neil Grant, Raymond Prior and Mark Hughes.

Sally Seltmann

Sally Seltmann is an award-winning songwriter and singer based in Melbourne, Australia. She has previously released albums and performed under the name 'New Buffalo', and is well known as the co-writer of the song '1234', performed by Feist. Sally now returns with Harmony to My Heartbeat, the first single from her new album, due for release in early 2010. Previous recordings by Sally as New Buffalo include her debut EP 'About Last Night', which was released in Australia (through Modular) and the UK (through Heavenly).
