Prince Paul (born Paul Huston) is a legendary DJ and hip hop producer. Prince Paul is known for having a very unorthodox, but mostly well-received sense of humor. Musically, he was one of the driving forces of what was to become known as alternative rap, by using surprising samples and quirky humour. Originally a member of Stetsasonic, he produced De La Soul's 1989 debut album 3 Feet High and Rising (It was on this album that Prince Paul invented the hip hop skit which has a long-standing and pervasive tradition on Hip hop albums to this day).

from Cyclic Defrost: Melbourne’s MC Ivens first emerged from the hip-hop scene a few years back as a founding member of the Awakenings Crew. Ivens’ live performances resemble the intense atmosphere of a hardcore gig more than your usual hip-hop throwdown, with Ivens delivering his sharp-focused dystopian lyrical flow to audiences at point-blank range. Otherwise known as David Coen, Ivens founded Awakenings Crew alongside Hykoo, Nick Sweepah, Chasm, Aux-One, Osinaka and Grizzly Baddums.

There are, at least, nine artist by this name: 1) Martinican reggae / folk musician Kali (Jean-Marc Monnerville), was born in Fort-de-France in 1959. After music studies in Paris in the 1970s, Kali returned to Martinique, where he contributed to several local bands, including 6ème Continent (Sixth Continent), which fused the traditional folk music of Martinique with reggae. Kali later decided to pursue a solo career. In 1992 Kali represented France in Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Monté La Riviè".

Vocalist Urban Monk (Dylan Truscio) teaming up with Producer Camelot the Cameleon (Cameron Chapman) working on a fresh approach to Hiphop/Beat Making/Ideas/Flows. Been working together for over a 2 years now putting together good mix of unique tracks, writing/recording and performing around Melbourne. Over a short but prosperous career, POLO CLUB have won the hearts and ears of many fans, even the judges of the Victorian final of the MTV Kickstart and Triple J Unearthed/Parklife competitions, Appearances at outdoor festivals including Push Over 2009 and Good Vibrations Festival (Melb) 2009.
