Tag Team was a miami bass duo of DC the Brain Supreme (Cecil Glenn) and Steve Roll'n (Steve Gibson) from Florida, USA, best known for their 1993 hit "Whoomp! (There It Is)". They released two albums, 1993's Whoomp! (There it is), and 1995's Audio Entertainment. In 2000 a Tag Team grestest hits CD was released.

Having fortified his name storming through the hip-hop battle rap circuit, 23 year old East London native Professor Green is set to drop his debut album on Mike Skinner's The Beats label (via Warner's). Growing up on the Northwold estate in Upper Clapton, Green's familial situation saw him being raised by his grandmother while he traded up school attendance for just hanging on the estate, like kids do.

Shabazz Palaces are percussionist Tendai Maraire and Ishmael Butler, formally of Digable Planets and Cherrywine. While Tendai employs ancient instruments from his homeland Zimbabwe, Ishmael provides the group’s vision and vocals. For Butler, who never stopped making music since he released his classic album by Digable Planets , ''Blowout Comb'', Shabazz palaces is his latest place to play with ideas. Those ideas have always been simultaneously global in their expansiveness and basement ceiling low in their commitment to hip-hop’s bottom line.
