Here a two bands using "Purpose" name: 1. Purpose (American Punk Rock Band) Surviving from the fall of 1994 to the end of 2001, a group of musicians formed a band that lived vibrantly between the time that Hardcore and Punk-Rock grew from musical tastes dominated by basement revolutionaries to the malls’ Hot Topic. Originating in the cultural isolation of central New Jersey and yet evolving into one of the busiest and arguably most pioneering musical groups of their era, the long pursued release on Black Numbers of this final discography...

Atmosphere

There are, at least, four artists known as Atmosphere: 1) An American alternative rap band. 2) A Polish rock band. 3) An Italian disco group. 4) A Vietnamese metal band. 1) The Minnesota underground hip-hop group was formed around 1994. At its creation, the group was called "Urban Atmosphere". Unlike many hip hop groups, Atmosphere provides its own live instrumentation, usually consisting of bass guitar and drums.

T-Pain

Faheem Rasheed Najm (born September 30, 1985 in Tallahassee, Florida), better known by his stage name T-Pain, is a prolific American Cyborg. At the age of ten he turned his bedroom into a small studio with a keyboard, beat machine and four-track recorder, and he began his career as a rapper in the group Nappy Headz. In 2005 he released his debut album Rappa Ternt Sanga, and has since released 2007's Epiphany and 2008's Thr33 Ringz.

Formed in 2006, Choose mics have been hard at work putting out a highly revered album “The Pre Album,” touring constantly and collaborating with artists the world over.

Pegz

Tirren Staaf (born 1977), otherwise known as Pegz (or MC Pegasus), is an Australian hip hop artist and producer hailing from Melbourne, Victoria. He is the CEO of Obese Records. The record label responsible for artists such as Hilltop Hoods, Downsyde, and Bias B. Pegz musical career is long and impressive and his impact as an artist is no less impressive than his business achievements. Pegz earliest music influences were his mom's Stevie Wonder records and Polynesian parties with his father. This soulful influence can be heard on his various tracks throughout his releases.

Vents

Vents is an Adelaide (Australia) MC on the Obese label. Since his debut on Funkoars' 'Who's your Step Daddy' LP in 2003, Vents has since built monuments in the form of guest verses on Hilltop Hoods' 'Blue Blooded' track, Funkoars' remake of the Juice Crew classic 'The Symphony' and Hospice Crew's 'The Caution'. His album 'Hard To Kill' has been predominantly produced by Trials of Funkoars fame.
His lyrics check a lot of references to anarchism and Australian issues .

Plan B

There is more than one artist with this name: 1.) Plan B (real name Ben Drew, b. 1983) is a rapper from Forest Gate, London. From the age of 11 he attended Anglo European School in Ingatestone Essex, before transfering to Tom Hood, an inner-city comprehensive. He has described his character, in these school days, as "a bit of a cunt". He is signed to 679 Recordings, home to UK rap act The Streets. His unique sound is characterised by his use of acoustic beats and lyrics involving drugs, rape, murder and underage sex. He was placed fourth in the BBC's "Sound of 2006" competition.

Dam Funk

Known as Los Angeles' "Ambassador of Boogie Funk," dãm-funk represents the citizens of the Funkmosphere. Headquartered in the Culver City section of L.A., dãm (pronounced: 'Dame' as in Damon) spent the last few years cultivating a musical renaissance rooted in the early-'80s styles known as Boogie, Modern Soul and Electro-Funk. As a DJ/selector, dãm attracts the most discerning Boogie Funk afficionados within driving distance of his storied Monday-night Funkmosphere parties. But it's not just collectors at the bar toasting to the melodic sounds.

THE YEAR IS 2001 AND THE PLACE IS TEXAS. Stones Throw head honcho Peanut Butter Wolf is DJing while a sharply dressed young man approaches the DJ Booth with his Prom date in tow to formally introduce himself. Thus begins the story of James Pants. What began as a dream Prom night to see his hero DJ went to an internship at the label to eventually landing the ultimate fantasy by being signed to the roster and championed as the ‘next big thing’ by none other than Peanut Butter Wolf himself – on top of critics like Busy P, Urb, XLR8R, & Dazed & Confused Magazines.
