Madina Lake is an alternative rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The group officially formed in 2005 when twin brothers Nathan and Matthew Leone, both former members of The Blank Theory got the money to make their demo from winning Fear Factor twins. The $50,000 was the start up money for Madina Lake. Completing the 4-piece band is Mateo Camargo and Dan Torelli, former members of Chicago rock band Reforma.

Simple Plan is a pop punk band from Montréal, Québec. The band has had no line up changes since its inception in 1999. Members are Pierre Bouvier (lead vocals), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), David Desrosiers (bass, backing vocals), Sébastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar, backing vocals) and Chuck Comeau (drums, percussion). They have released four studio albums: No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls (2002), Still Not Getting Any… (2004), Simple Plan (2008), and Get Your Heart On! (2011); as well as two widely marketed live albums: Live in Japan 2002 (2003) and MTV Hard Rock Live (2005).

1. Short Stack is an Australian pop punk band, formed in 2005. The band consisted of members Shaun Diviney, Andy Clemmensen and Bradie Webb. Shannon Hotchkins was also a member of Short Stack before any song was ever performed or recorded. Short Stack have twice been named channel [V]'s Oz Artist of the year, and produced two gold-selling albums, three top ten singles, and ARIA number one chart award and a platinum-selling single. They have also shared the stage with many big name artists such as McFly, Hellogoodbye, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte and The Veronicas, many of which while still completing their HSC. However, in 2012, the group split. Their third album was released in October 2013, with no promotion or comments made concerning the release. In April 2014, the band announced their reformation.
Shaun Diviney, Andy Clemmensen and Bradie Webb met on the train to the Hunter School of Performing Arts in Newcastle, New South Wales. Eventually, they decided to form a band and named it Short Stack. Originally, Shannon Hotchkins played drums, Webb played guitar, Clemmensen played bass and Diviney was the lead vocalist. However, after Hotchkins left, Diviney heard Webb playing on the drums and realised that he had the talent. So, Diviney became the lead vocalist and guitarist, Clemmensen stayed on bass, and Webb became the drummer
2. Short Stack was a punk band from Brooklyn, New York active during the mid '00s. Members went on to play in other bands such as Dead Dog, Raw//War, Sleepwalk, Six Pack Four and Beer Garden. The Menzingers originally formed after the dissolution of Bob And The Sagets, a band local to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area of Pennsylvania. With the addition of Greg Barnett the band recorded a demo/self-released album "A Lesson In The Abuse Of Information Technology" in 2006. Shortly thereafter they were signed by Go-Kart Records and re-recorded the songs from "A Lesson" and re-released their album with the addition of some new tracks. At the Fest VII in Gainesville, FL they were approached by Brendan Kelly of The Lawrence Arms and subsequently signed to Red Scare Industries.
