1) Hopeless is a melodic hardcore band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Since their formation in 2008, Hopeless have wasted little time in establishing themselves as one of Australia’s most forward-thinking hardcore bands. After landing early support slots with acts as diverse as Have Heart and Four Year Strong, Hopeless has gone on to tour nationally with everyone from Her Nightmare and The Amity Affliction through to We Are The Ocean and Ruiner.

Emmure formed in 2003. The founding members, Ben and Joe Lionetti met Frank Pamerei and Jesse Ketive on the internet and began rehearsals together. Mark Davis would later join when the original Bass player had to leave as the tour schedule Ben designed was too intense. Many have compared Emmure to The Acacia Strain and From a Second Story Window. Jesse Ketive is a former member of the band Warfix, where he played guitar alongside Bryan Goldsman of Southside Panic, Sean Murphy & Mike Kaabe formerly of Endwell.

There are more than one artist with the name Carry Nation. 1) "Brisbane has given birth to a soulful and fresh talent, who titles herself "Carry Nation". Nation offers her audience a piece of her mind, and for thirty or so minutes the room is transformed. Although she has only been apart of the scene for 9 months Nation has played all the main stages of the valley district, and scored a record deal with indie label "Television Records". When asked about her success as a musician Carry Nation states "Look over there!!" and points behind you, when you turn around she is gone." - Myspace.

Loma Prieta is a hardcore band, featuring members of Archeopteryx, Punch, Sailboats, Beau Navire and us, haunted bodies, that formed in San Francisco in 2005. Since formation, they have released four 12 inch records, and two 7 inch records (mostly on their own label), however their newest lp, "IV" is being released on Deathwish Records, home of bands such as Converge, Trap Them, and Touche Amore.
