There are multiple artists with this name: 1) (The) World At A Glance are an Australian 4-piece Screamo band based in Melbourne. With influences of Emo, Screamo, Post-Rock, Punk bands such as At The Drive-in, Fugazi, Rites Of Spring, Saetia, Merchant Ships, Make Me and Explosions in the Sky. They began playing together on the first day of December in 2008. after a few months of writing, they recorded a 3 song demo.
This Providence (previously known as Sunday Best), is a four piece pop rock band from Seattle, Washington US. The members of This Providence came together in the summer of 2001 and soon after recorded a 4 song demo CD, under the short lived name of "T minus 1." In 2003 they recorded the better known The Sunday Best EP, co-produced, and self-released (now out of print). While still in high school, they gathered a strong local following as well as some label attention. After graduating, the band released their debut full-length record, Our Worlds Divorce, produced by Casey Bates.
Oliver and Louis Leimbach started playing music together as brothers later in life, when they could stay put in the same room without giving each other dead-arms. TV on the Radio is a Brooklyn, New York, USA-based band that was formed in 2001. Their music is difficult to classify and is often described as art rock or post-punk, but is educated by a diverse spectrum of styles including freeform jazz and a cappella music, psychedelia and trip-hop, modern soul and classic '90s indie rock, giving them a unique and original sound. The core members are Tunde Adebimpe (vocals, loops), David Andrew Sitek (guitars, keyboards, loops) and Kyp Malone (vocals, guitars, loops), but the band is accompanied by additional members when performing live.
Manchester Orchestra is an indie rock band which formed in Atlanta, Georgia, United States in 2005. The group is currently composed of rhythm guitarist-singer-songwriter Andy Hull, lead guitarist Robert McDowell, keyboardist and percussionist Chris Freeman, bassist Jonathan Corley and drummer Tim Very. Nada Surf is an American alternative rock group formed in 1992. The New York band consists of Matthew Caws (guitar, vocals), Ira Elliot (drums, vocals) and Daniel Lorca (bass, vocals). Miles Kane (born 17th March 1986) is an English musician. He is best known for sharing lead responsibilities and writing with Alex Turner in their side-project The Last Shadow Puppets. He also was part of the bands The Rascals and The Little Flames before he recently decided to start a solo career. "Colour of The Trap", his debut album will be released on Monday 9th May. Kane is the cousin of James Skelly of The Coral.
