Their repertory of styles expanded across electronic, trip hop, noise, and industrial. The band Ruby was named as such because Rankine and Walk both have a grandmother named Ruby.

Faithless

Formed in 1995 by Sister Bliss, Faithless is a London, England, United Kingdom-based group of musicians whose music is described by one of their band member as a cross between trip-hop and techno. The four original members of Faithless were rapper Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss, instrumentalist/vocalist Jamie Catto and producer Rollo Armstrong. Jamie Catto (now in 1 Giant Leap) left after their second album, Sunday 8pm, which was released in 1998. Rollo Armstrong's sister Dido also features on several Faithless tracks.

They comprise of Gee (vocals) and Scott (music). Their sound is a mix of beats and samples, drawing on a wide range of influences from dub to sixties pop, all tied together by Gee’s distinctive voice.

Benji Boko is a super-fly, street-smart music producer, DJ, performer. Benji has been described as the “Beat-maker Wonder-Kid” from the reviews of his DJ sets and recent releases. Recently signed to Nightmares On Wax new label, Wax On Records, Benji is currently producing an album, to be released in 2008. Recoil

Recoil is the project of Alan Wilder, formerly a member of Depeche Mode. Born on 1st June 1959, he is a classically-trained musician and renowned contemporary music producer. Recoil was born in 1986 as a two-track experimental EP. Simply entitled ‘1 + 2’, this collection of primitive demos caught the attention of Mute Records label boss Daniel Miller and was inconspicuously released as a mini-album on 12" vinyl.

Savages

The Savages was a 60s psychedelic garage band from India. Founded in 1967 by Bashir Sheikh, the Savages went beyond playing cover versions, and started writing their own material.They recorded their first EP with HMV in 1967, the first album that came out of this Polydor contract was titled The Savages, Live, containing mostly cover versions, and one original composition titled "PIO". Jacques Renault

Producer and DJ, Jacques Renault, was a post-punk Washington D.C. native who moved to Chicago in 1997 to continue his studies of viola, but in turn got an education in dance music. Tapping into the well established Drum n' Bass scene, he held a residency at Smart Bar and became a buyer at the legendary Gramaphone Records. This broad, raw exposure to House lead him straight back to the classics of Disco and to it's heart, New York City, where he landed in 2002.

DJ Vadim

DJ Vadim (aka Vadim Peare, real name Andrey Gurov) is a prolific DJ from Russia, based in London. His music combines hip hop and electronica and his recording technique involves very precise sampling as opposed to looping. He signed to Ninja Tune in 1992, and founded his own independent record label, Jazz Fudge in 1995. Aside from DJ-ing, he has worked in numerous roles including A&R, promoter, and radio presenter on the BBC's "Around The World In Eight Relays".

DJ I-Dee

Growing up in the suburbs of Washington DC, I-Dee (born Isaac DeLima) began his career in the mid nineties at the tender age of 10. Beginning battling in 2002, I-Dee won numerous regional titles up and down the East Coast which sparked ears to open as he was slowly beginning to become a force to be reckoned with. Ultimately, he solidified his name in 2006, at the age of 19, by winning the DMC USA, Scribble Jam and Gong World Supremacy titles in 6 months. No other DJ had accomplished such a remarkable act within a short period of time.
