ZENI GEVA is a Japanese prog-hardcore band, led by singer and guitarist KK Null, one pioneering group of innovators and legends. ZENI GEVA was founded in Tokyo in 1987 and quickly found a dedicated fan base in Europe and the US.

Stephanie (ステファニー) is a new Japanese singer who debuted in 2007 under Sony Music Japan with the single 君がいる限り (Kimi ga Iru Kagiri) -anime KISS DUM -ENGAGE planet-'s ending theme song-. Stephanie has an Armenian-American father and a Japanese mother, and lived in California until she was 14. Hiromi Uehara (上原ひろみ, born 26 March 1979) is a Japanese jazz composer and pianist. She is known for her virtuosic technique, energetic live performances and blend of jazz with other musical genres such as progressive rock, classical and fusion in her compositions. She performs as a trio alongside bassist Tony Grey and drummer Martin Valihora. On October 19, 2006, the trio added guitarist David Fiuczynski (from the Screaming Headless Torsos), to form Hiromi's Sonicbloom.
There are two different artists under the name Minamo: An electro-acoustic rock group and a Free Jazz/Classical Duo. 1. In 1999, the electro-acoustic group Minamo was formed by Keiichi Sugimoto and Tetsuro Yasunaga. In 2000, minamo's self-released CD-R "wakka" was reissued by the New York label Quakebasket. This release was selected by Matmos as one of best sounds in 2001 in The Wire magazine.

Electric Eel Shock (a.k.a. EES) are a Japanese celebration of classic rock, punk and metal. A true power trio (Aki Morimoto - Guitar & Vocals; Kazuto Maekawa - Bass; Tomoharu 'Gian' Ito - Drums) from the time before rock became fractured into a diverse multitude of sub-genres and we were all still one big happy Rock & Roll family. EES formed in Tokyo in the late 1990s, they first toured the United States in 1999 and came to Europe in early 2003 - they have been touring the world ever since.
Merzbow (メルツバウ) is an experimental music project created in Tokyo in 1979 under the direction of musician Masami Akita (秋田昌美). Since 1979, Akita has formed two record labels and has contributed releases to numerous independent record labels. As well as being a prolific artist, he has also written a number of books and has been the editor of several magazines in Japan. He has written about a variety of subjects, mostly about art, avant-garde music and post-modern culture. His more renowned works have been on the topics of BDSM and fetish culture.
