Dashboard Confessional was started in 2000, by Chris Carrabba in Boca Raton, Florida, as a side project from his band Further Seems Forever. Chris recorded his first album, The Swiss Army Romance, in 2000. The following year, he recorded Further Seems Forever's debut album The Moon Is Down. However, he left the band soon after the album's release, instead recording and releasing his sophomore album The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most, as well as a follow-up EP titled So Impossible.

Lior Attar (born 1976) is an Israeli, independent Australian singer-songwriter based in Sydney. A talented guitarist and vocalist, his sound is defined by the combination of a contemporary roots sound with many Israeli/Middle Eastern and Jewish influences. In early 2005, Lior released his debut album, "Autumn Flow". The album was nominated for three ARIA Awards: Best Breakthrough Artist, Best Male Artist, and Best Independent Release, the album was also nominated for the J Award, presented by youth radio station Triple J for the "Australian Album of the Year" .
Xavier Rudd (born 1978) is a soulful Australian surf/roots artist from Torquay, Victoria, which is near the famous surfing location, Bells Beach. Rudd's music is compassionate and always manages to render emotion in his fans. His songs include stories of the mistreatment of the indigenous people of his homeland; they tell of humanity, spirituality or the environment. The songs are written and sung with compassion and they urge the celebration of life.
Harry Manx is a musician who blends blues, folk, and Hindustani classical music. Born on the Isle of Man and raised in Ontario, he is currently living on Saltspring Island, BC, Canada. He plays slide guitar, harmonica, six-string banjo, cigar-box guitar and the Mohan Veena (a 20-stringed guitar/sitar hybrid). He studied for five years in India with Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Ólöf Arnalds was born in 1980. In 2006 she graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts with a B.A. degree in composition and new media. She's múm's collaborator for the past years, and has also played with many other Icelandic bands and musicians, such as Slowblow or Stórsveit Nix Noltes. One of Ólöf´s most recent collaborations was her part on Skúli Sverrisson's critically acclaimed album Sería where she plays guitar, charanga, viola and sings her own lyrics. Ólöf´s debut solo album Við Og Við was released in 2007 on 12 Tónar. Produced by Sigur Rós' Kjartan Sveinsson.
