Rachel Barton

Rachel Barton Pine (born October 11, 1974) is a violinist from Chicago. Considered a child prodigy at the violin, she started playing at the age of 3 and a half. She played at many renowned venues through her child and teen years. She currently resides in Chicago with her husband Greg (a computer entrepreneur and former minor league baseball pitcher), plays regularly with the Chicago Symphony and on her own, tours worldwide, and has an active recording career.

Marques Toliver

Marques Toliver was born in Tallahassee Florida on March 28, 1987, but moved to Daytona Beach at a young age. His first impressionable musical influence began as a young boy mimicking the deep southern style of singing he came in contact with. As the years progressed he would be introduced to the violin and later receive formal training that would allow him to continue acquiring musical knowledge in college.

Owen Pallett (born Michael James Owen Pallett-Plowright, on September 7, 1979) is a violinist and singer from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and winner of the inaugural Polaris Music Prize. On December 18th, 2009, Pallett announced that he would be retiring his old artist name, Final Fantasy, and would be henceforth releasing his material under his own name. Previous albums released under the Final Fantasy name are planned to be re-packaged and re-released under the new name of Owen Pallett.

Colm Mac Con Iomaire

Colm Mac Con Iomaire is from known Gaeltacht area of Cúileann na Páirce in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. He plays violin, keyboard and sings vocals with the Irish Rock group The Frames. Mac Con Iomaire has been involved with The Frames since 1990. Mac Con Iomaire has a practical opinion of the industry: "I think we measure success on a day-to-day level," Mac Con Iomaire has said. "All you can do is throw a bunch of seeds out there and see which ones catch on."

There are two bands that go by the name Hung: 1: Hung is an Extreme Progressive Metal band from the United States. The violinist Lyris Hung gives the name to this band which is quite an original mixture of melodic death and black with progressive elements, plus the unusual addition of a electric violin. 2: Hung was a high school band formed by Chad, Jordan, Mark, and Dan. The played several Ann Arbor, MI shows before disbanding to form several other bands including So&so and the Down-Low and Paranoid Nation.
